  • The way he walked to the brothel is how I walk into work every morning.

  • @piratebri it's funny, because these days you see a well dressed man walking to the bothel (or to work) "talking to himself," you assume he must have a bluetooth headset crammed in his ear talking on his cell phone lol

  • We all discover why he is like this later int he series. Seems he is lacking testicular fortitude and can only pray on women because his only weapon to combat men of any effectiveness is by words. He played this very well in this series and was an impressive garnish for the show.

  • GARRETT dILLAHUNT IS GOOD AT PLAYING A WOMANIZER

  • To this day I have no idea what he means by "I can cut off my arm."

  • @hc1153 I don't know, but here's a thought: The bible tells you that if a part of your body hurts and can't be healed, you cut it off. Perhaps he's saying he can remove the problem by killing himself.

  • Izabella Miko, a dollface

  • he reminds me of josh brolin in milk.

  • the coward jack McCall was hanged in Missouri by law officials...just sayin.

  • When Charlie beat the crap out of this guy, I wasn't particularly sad to see it.

  • The fact that he managed to play both Jack McCall and Francis Wolcott without many even noticing it, proves Dillahunt is a great actor.

  • 1 person believes himself to be past surprise.

  • How is that disturbing exactly ? compared too the way half the world is dying of starvation and the other half is dying of obesity this is not disturbing.

  • @sgtcadaver1234

I guess its because some people would find a triple murder to be disturbing.

Do you think the scene would have worked better if it involved him forcing the 3 girls into unhealthy diets until they died many years later?

  • @Cha4k Too fucking passive. That happens naturally now anyways.

  • the jack the ripper of the american west. a privileged man more fucked up than anyone can believe, who hides it fairly well... he hides his hatred for all humanity as a sort of upper class snobbery, but beneath all that he's an utterly alone psychopath whose experiments with affection are clinical failures... who can only get joy from killing. apparently this character was abused as a kid but that doesn't excuse anything - the most evil character in the show.

  • i really wanted this guy to die some awful death

  • @johnmrrs he did, he hung himself.

  • @Yun351 not anywhere near as awful as i was hoping he would get thats a pretty quick death if your neck breaks

  • @Yun351 Are you saying that Jack McCall hung himself ?

  • @Yun351 I think it was the Captain who killed him and made it look like suicide

  • Where's Charlie Udder?! Come rescue us Charlie Udder!!!

  • Joanie Stubbs is one sexy woman!

  • Thumbs up if you saw him as the evil Terminator in the Sarah Connor Chronicles!

  • I remember seeing this for the first time and when that music comes in underneath his rant you just know something terrible is going to happen. One thing Deadwood did brilliantly (among many) is approaching doom.

  • Why doesn't the borg queen assimilate him, he would make an excellent drone.

  • Ha. She wasn't a very good negotiator.

"Pay me $100,000 now! And then...MORE! Whenever I want! FOREVER!"

"Ermm -- how about I just cut your throat with a straight razor and pay nothing?"

  • @johnnytastetest i bet you the borg queen she played in star trek would have had better luck "negotiating" with him.

  • I really wished HBO came through with the 4 hour series finale they originally planned.

  • this is one of the most memorable scenes from Deadwood for me. Wolcott, Bullock and Hurst were my favorite characters in this show

  • he's not a psychopath, because he feels remorse. he's psychosexual killer. they can only orgasm when committing violence during sexual encounters.

  • @zackhanscom The poor guy even hates himself for what he does :(

  • umm. wut?

  • yes he's the same

  • he's very very wrong

  • lol, life would indeed be "an endlessly unfolding tedium" without Deadwood.

  • What is his fucking problem?.

  • well, he's a psychopathic killer.

  • @BlondeBardie He dont wanna have been seen

  • his characters in deadwood were amazing and disturbing - two very different types of bad guy.

  • how the fek did i not notice that he was the same guy who played mccall?? quality show... fuck hbo fools

  • @johnnyAlJazeera

Just realized it. Holy shit. He sure changed his skin like a chameleon. From the droopy eyed weazel gambler into the batshit fuking insane serial killer in the disguise of a distinguished gentleman

  • Is that the same guy who played Jack McCall?

  • yeah, that would be him (Garret Dillahunt)

  • yeah Garrett Dillahunt is also great in the Last House on the Left.

  • He also is playing a gang member role in the new movie The Road. He also had a recurring role on The 4400 and played Jesus on The Book of Daniel. Great actor.

  • @Nordavind346 If no one else were to get acting awards for this show, I think Robin Weigert and Garret deserved them in spades.

I wonder if Garret could get 2 awards for acting 2 characters to brilliance? :-)

  • @cshubs He should.

  • @Nordavind346 why yes he is and i Do say YOU.ARE.A.CUNT. for inquiring

  • Garret dillahunt is a fantastic actor!
