@asmahmazlan I have not watched this season, my bad, I Know ! It's not the same without Simon or Paula. However I hear it's doing well and the competition is good ! And yes, the David Cook single is awesome, I have it. He'll always be one of my faves of all time from the original IDOL seasons - thanks for the update !

am i crazy or was this not the same week that Jason Castro cemented himself into Idol History with one of the best performances EVER ... Hallelujah??? How could anyone be ranked over Castro's Hallelujah, or David Cook's version of Hello is beyond me. Luke Mennard was not very good this round, and Hernandez was alright. But the top 3 with a bullet this night were 1. Castro, 2. Cook, 3. Johns. I am at a loss as to how Mennard and Hernandez got ranked above Castro and Cook. Just my opinion...

Hi, your not crazy... Jason Castro did Hallelujah a few weeks later into the top 10 and that was his best performances. Cook did do Hello that night and that's when AMERICA went WOW WHO IS and he cleverly got more intriguing week after week and climbed up to the top ! :) I love Luke and David H hope they are doing well.

Luke didn't do the song justice. He didn't have the vocal powers for it. He sounded a lot like George Michaels but he simply couldn't "hit that high."

You got to be kidding. Luke Menard sang the worst song that came out of the eighties. A Wham song- really? And he didn't do anything different with it. David Cook had the best song of that week with Hello, followed by MJ's Don't You forget about me.

ooooo....luke menard? ahhh. got to disagree. i think he had enough experience to find that niche you mentioned compared to the other contestants...but david hernandez?i totally agree. i was so horrified he got out. kristee lee cook should have been the one. her country rendition was horrible.

Ya I thought Luke had the stage presence, the vocals and he's the type of IDOL I would route for. David Hernandez is now THE one for me :) David Cook is talented, but not my style. Thanks for the comment and enjoy the season !
