Hi. Thank you so much for adding all these cool Sesame Street vids :) I have a request for you. If you can find it could you add the video of Erykah Badu singing "We're all friends"....If you need further info please let me know. Thanks :)
i agree with most of the comments posted. The old sesame street was BY FAR the best. had the greatest and funniest episodes. Sesame street is so dried up now with no flavor. I say, either bring back the old episodes or just take it off the air
@noreaga12326 I agree with you. The problem is the people that run the show today feel it's best to listen to the parents that complain about the show. These are people who find every little thing offensive, kinda sad really. =:S
I miss the street. Sesame Street indeed at one time looked like an honest to god street. Now it's Hollywood and Stepford. I miss Cookie, Ernie and Bert, my man the Count, Sherlock Hemlock.....Elmo....why did there have to be an Elmo.. ):
Gave it 5 stars: The show is outdoing most other forms of television in longevity! Many people lives are shorter than the run of Sesame Strett, not to mention it's showing so so many other countries!
Wow, Sesame Street looked like a real, honest-to-goodness NYC street back then. They need to change the name of the show today to "Sesame Soundstage." Or "Sesame Greenscreen."
I wish all of those old episodes would come back to Noggin. But since Noggin was handed over to Viacom, I guess that's not possible.
What would make me *really* happy is if PBS Sprout put the old episodes on their network. I don't see why not, since they've got episodes from 2001 (the ones beginning with 39).

I must say, I enjoy seeing the permanent happy-go-lucky shaped mouth that the early puppets of Ernie had.

@gordogreat74 How do you know it's the parents who are causing this?
After all, many of them grew up with the original SS.

@MIKECNW They said it themselves at CTW that they listen to complaints, which are (I assume) are from over protective parents.

And you are a major chronicler of it!

Nice try, Ernie. Big Bird always wins when it comes to height! ;-)

I love Ernie and Big Bird too though
And I heard that Big Bird is 8 ft

That's right. Big Bird is 8 ft. and 2 in.

Me too

It's an optical illusion. Bert only appears to be taller because Ernie is shorter.
