  • Hi mate, im in the middle of lowering the rear of my 106 and im at the stage where i need to remove my torsion bars, im using the slide hammer method but the bars will not budge!!! I have used a whole can of WD40 on them, tried shocking them but nothing is working. I was just wondering if you could give me any help? I'll try anything at this point!! Lol

  • @StonedAllDay23434, You need to remove the washer and screw a bolt into the other end (that your using a slide hammer on), then get a bar and sledge and give it some. Thats what alot of people say to do. I'm gonna try that on my VTR soon.

  • Will definitely pass this on to all my friends

  • will this work with the saxo vtr also?

  • hi darren :). i have a problem with my Dturbo when i bought it it was lowerd 40mm at the front and ment to be the same at the back. i was getting it ready for mot today (had to replace rear axle mountings). now im home i looked at the car and noticed its lower at the drivers side rear so i got out the measuring tape :). both front wheels and passinger rear measured at 16 inches from the center of the wheels. the drivers side rear measured 15 inch do u think its been lowered wrong. cheers :)
