Ok I'm pretty brain dead when it comes to curling with a flat iron...I dont get how this is actually CURLING your hair..... Is it kinda the same principle as taking scissors to curling ribbon to make it curl? I guess I'm just not getting how it curls when you aren't actually having the hair wrapped around anything FULLY...

@MsBubblegumkitty haha yes it is kinda like that. but since the hair is being "straightened" a certain direction it will maintain it. it just so happens the direction is in a circular pattern. its like using a straightener to flip out a piece of hair but continuing that motion.
