well... doesn't say the english dub is bad. the portuguese or brazilian is worst. big time. the voices are annoying, they say the translations wrong and sometimes the guys move the lips and no one speaks.

By the way, the anti- tank revolver really existed. The german army experimented with a prototype in the late 1930s. It was shaped like a signal- flare revolver. It broke armour up to 15, max 20mm. About 200 pieces were produced until 1941, when the procution was stopped to copy the russian "Panzerbüchse" , an anti tank- rifle.

Yeah, the tank commander is a German. "Schnell, schnell" and "Dummkopf", very subtile:) Is this erverything, english majors knor about german language?

However the tank seem so be a combination of different tank types of WWII. Chassis from russian T34, Armour at front and side from german Tiger II, turret possibly from russian KV1 or british Valentine (but with other gun), I'm not sure. Nice work

These tanks are very famous in Japan. Especially german WWII tanks are used in anime (Panzer IV in "Detective Conan" or Tiger I in "Magister Negi Magi" for example). In Pumpkin Scissors you will also find a german Schwimmwagen and a 9- to Halftrack. The rifles in the series are german K98 and american M1 Garands.

also, his loader says things with a french accent as made clear by his difficulty pronouncing "h"'s.

Instead of saying "this", he says "z'is"

It sounds like a mix of Russian and German Accents. Some of the pronunciation is off if you look at it from a german perspective.

For example, he says, "you should be [v-w-one] of us" instead of saying the word one. This sounds more like a fluent Russian speaker trying to say one for the first time.

From my knowledge of the language, Germans tend not to sink their teeth into "W's"

Good question. Maybe the voices in the Japanese were spoken with different accents originally? I don't know. The mysteries of what the hell they're doing in the voice acting departments continue to elude me.

Because Führer is a common term for people in leading positions. Like the fahrzeugführer ( driver )

And yes, the pronounciation are off and the accent is heavily overdone.

Not like in Mutant Chronicles, where the "german" army commander is actually a german actor, who uses a completely german accent free phrase while ordering the charge...his minions speak gibberish tho.
