I was 8 when i picked up this album. it was my second cd i ever bought, the first being boyz II men II. i was apprehensive about buying mellon collie infinite sadness as a kid because the only song I knew was bullet through butterfly wings, and why would i spend so much money on songs i never heard. this song only requires a little bit of snare, not the monster set playing Jimmy did. when they replaced him on the Adore tour, they had three drummers/percussionists cover him. Joey Waronaker (sp?) was one of those three.
