Wow what a difference. Your videos are very interesting but here is one of Mt. Lukens before the Station Fire with more vegetation while more recent ones show the effect of the fire.

@NICENAD Thanks again for noticing the images of recent events in my videos. I was soaring by Lake Elsinore during the massive fire along the 91 near Corona (having driven past its smoldering beginings earlier the same day). I soared over the freshely charred landscape of the ridge opposite Mt Lukens the day the forest service opened it to air traffic where I encountered an ash devil rising from the peak. I understand that excess vegetation w/ creosote in it can be a very serious threat.

I love this video and the music too.  I have got to learn to hang glide. To bad I live in the thermally challenged Ohio.

Nice flying, and Great music...one of Ted's best! Working a camera (or threading a needle) with gloves on is rather challenging...flying a hang glider at the same time doesn't help much either. Enjoyed the flight track too. 5 stars, dude!
