  • amazing driving bro. can you make a tutorial on how to heel toe in the s2000?

  • Z.Z Rev matching does not hurt the engine what so ever you miss informed people.

  • Sはこんな靴じゃペダル操作しにくいでしょうに・・ダウンシフトで全然回転合っていないのは靴のせいばかりではないと思いますが

  • nice to hear a S2K without the clutch rattle on deceleration

  • y u no rev match and use more throttle into turns?

  • perfect machine, shit steering

  • you realize when you ride the clutch like that through the turns you kill your clutch more and more have fun paying for a new clutch more often than you should I've been running the same Carbonetic clutch for 3 years on a fully built engine but I use the proper shifting techniques and whatnot not trying to sound rude but go to a racing school than you won't be such a shitty driver like the rest of the world :D

  • @TheJordanGraff you did sound rude but everything that you learn at the track in racing school is not applicable to road driving. For example, when you brake to go into a corner you brake, blip the throttle and downshift, you know this already but i'll get to my point. if you are going to turn into a street, for example, you shouldn't need to blip the throttle because you're already slowing down and rev matching at higher speeds damages your engine.

  • @TheJordanGraff many of the things you learn in racing school are meant for just that, racing so think a little bit before you criticize how other people drive because lets be honest I'm not the best driver but neither are you.

  • @AstonV177 rev matching doesn't damage your engine are you kidding me? and yes I do blip my throttle when going into a corner while driving through towns and of course I can criticize his driving im a professional driver I drive for a living! And did I ever lay claim to being the best driver??

  • @TheJordanGraff no of course not, having your engine putting power down at 3000rpm and then revving it high to change gears doesnt hurt at all. I'm a mechanical engineering student so allow me to explain where i;m coming from, the engine is meant to rev to red-line whatever it may be, and won't do too much damage as long as the power is going to the wheels. now take the same force you applied to the wheels and have the engine try to disperse it.

  • @TheJordanGraff its more noticeable in cars with high-power or larger engines as they shake when you rev them. Theres no need to blip the throttle through town unless you're trying to race through town and driving for a living doesn't mean you should tell people they suck at driving, I'm sure you've had a few accidents just like the rest of us.

  • @AstonV177 no knowing that this guy sucks at driving and knowing that I'm 100x the driver he is means I can criticize his driving all I want... and of course I've been in accidents people never drive properly and cut me off and I almost kill them because 58K pound semi's with 60K+ trailers dont stop on a dime!Besides when your coming from a sidestreet to a main thorough fare you should blip the throttle to accelerate quicker so as to not cause an accident!

  • nice vid man! keep working on those driving skills tho, got great potential! way to be on the heal toeing!

  • Why are people bitching about him going too slow? It's relative to the person driving. I doubt he wants to wrap his car around a tree, as he himself claimed his novice-ness in the description, and unlike many of you, still had the balls to go on a mountain road to drive around, he could've kept it all for himself, but he decided to take the time to record footage for all of you who clearly don't even have a car, to enjoy an s2000 being driven. Cool vid, hope to get my supra up n filmed soon.

  • FUAHH!! lucky you that road was empty! wish i had an open road that no one really uses

  • how to downhill in 3rd gear

  • cant drive a manual

  • Thats just too slow man!!!!

  • i always laugh how people lean thier heads when they enter corners :)

  • did you film the pedals with your ballsack?

  • Comment removed

  • are you driving an s2000 like this ?????????????/ why you dont buy an slk or a corolla instead ?????????/

  • @hypnotized78 you make no sense

  • Three things I noticed:

1- You need to rev the engine more to stay in the power band

2- You need to brake heavier before you enter a turn

3- Accelerate through/out of the turn

Oh, and of course don't drive above your skill level on the street.

  • @Pube83 lol he is on a public road not a road course or a race track. your talking about techniques utilized whilst flogging the heck out of a vehicle to get the best time on a race track. not something to be done on a fun sunday mountain drive at 5/10's lol lol lol

  • @Pube83 +1, i can even understand why to upload this video xd

  • rather watch some japanese drive it lol,

  • Where is this road?!

  • good driving dude... huge fan of s2000s too :D thx for the vid

  • I too wish to procure an S2000 someday soon, hopefully soon out of college before I turn thirty, ha ha. I guess my Del Sol will have to do for now.

  • I'm 15 and i want a Honda s2000, it's my dream car. Plus i'm a small guy so it would fit me perfectly!

  • sick heel & toe!

  • Not bad, that's what I called driving "crusinly fast", not all out but very smooth and quick. Got that heel and toe down pretty good too. wish I lived in place with roads like that, damn...

  • @jsiszero

Drifting thru a touge with an s2k.. ha good luck? Definately not a beginners drift car

  • you should've went all out and do what drift king does, North American touge style

  • nice ankle socks.

  • @Barretr What a fag you are, sweatin his socks..haha. You enjoy dick dont you sissy boy?

  • @SuperUsernameblabla yeah, because I am being sarcastic about someone's choice of socks. Great detective skills.

  • shit sterring men...

  • nice video with camera position.

Question. Why you stepping on brake like every 2 sec? And driving a high rev car on lower gear? These cars got track control and I bet you can go 60-70 easily with 3rd or 4th.

  • @Alibeatzade91

very true, the s2000 has amazing traction control & handling, i've been in one going 100-120km around curvy roads like this, handled beautifully.

but like they say, it's better to be safe than sorry!.

other than that, nice video man.

  • Hey, at least he isn't killing his car.

  • wow very nice!! u just made me wanna get this car. But Im not sure if I can drive like you. damn

  • Great camera position, great view of the road, steering wheel, speedo/tach, and of course the all important shift lever. Oh, and the engine noise is picked up nicely. Hope to buy a roadster for myself some day. great little vid.

  • One tip besides braking inside the corners, move your foot a bit faster on your downshifts, it will shifting much smoother and you won't waste your textbook heel-toeing skills.

  • why use the brakes so much??

  • i love videos like this

  • veeery nice camera setup by the way!! +1000

  • Personally, I wouldn't brake that much inside the corners. Correct yourself before the corner, by shifting a gear or two back. When you do it like that, you never have a loss of power at the exit of the corner (like you had on 1:00). Correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I've experienced it. : )

  • @MedusasFallHC Sort of! The car began to understeer at about 1:03 because he was still fairly hard on the brake and turning harder as the bend tightened. He'd already scrubbed off most of the speed prior to this and in order to prevent the understeer he needed to gently ease off the brake as he turned further in. If you do this right you'll balance the load on the front tires (rather than overload them) and the car will turn in. Off course if you jumped off the brakes you'd unload the back end!

  • nice driving

  • I want to get this car by the end of college, my dream car! lol

  • now that's how you drive a manual! i had a run like that in the mountains just a month ago, great adrenaline rush!

  • What kinds of cameras did you use? Great video!

  • looks like a logging road

  • Some nice heel toe. Love it in the s2k

  • good stuff. there was a couple of times where i thought u were gona fly right off the road lol... i know i wouldnt be able to drvie like that.. tha car would turn off on me during one of those sharp turns

  • once you learn how to heel toe your driving should be more fluid

i'd love to drive there though

  • nice footwork!

  • grea driving
