Ah, I fed up with trying to install android into my laptop. It just won't boot from SD card.

WMM A8505 chip

script folder in root of SD

SD formatted as FAT, FAT32, EXFAT, NTFS but no luck at any time.

Sorry I spent 5 hours already. It will go to ebay tomorrow.

That was very informative and interesting. I just bought a 7 inch netbook through DHGates. It took me 6 weeks to get it from China. It has a Android like your talking about. I had trouble teaching myself how to use it at first but now I'm getting the hang of it thanks to videos like yours. What can you do to get your headphone back or will it cost too much to fix it?

@pspslimicesilver, It should come with Windows CE if the seller didn't install Android. Windows CE pretty much is only for browsing the net. But i would install Android, you can browse the web AND use Apps. Luckly my seller already installed it for me.

@ArgothXyladan There ISN'T a BIOS in WIndows CE. It's flash-based. If you have the files on sd, just pop it turn, then turn on the netbook, and it will open by itself.

go into your android menu and look for settings (should be gear shaped) then go to the symbol with the letter "A" select the first option that should get you to languages

4 me, Android wouldn't work because I don't always want 2b entertained- i want 2 do stuff with my device & that's y, after researching most tablets, i have 2 still concider $ing a umpc because on most umpcs, u get "actual" ports like ethernet, usb 2.0, sd card, ddr2 or ssd(for antishock), & most importantly, i can compose html code, word docs, use Notepad, etc... u can't do this with Android. with Android, all u can do is "view" docs, not compose them "easily" like with Windows os

this is what they should have put on the mini to start with imo. windows ce is good for certain things but a netbook isnt one of them. i do want to get one of these though just so i can boot it to linux kernel and practice coding with it. frankly though, for the same price, you can easily get android phones with much higher hardware (ie, faster processor, more ram, and a higher rez display) for the same price or just a little more.
