shit its annoying during the giratina save the three lake legendaries arc, i spent my ass off training all my pokemon to the highest lvled pokemon of the next gym leader to face to ensure victory, which is 50. it took forever up in mt. coronet, thankfully my team was a torterra, jolteon, starmie, shelgon(which evovled during the training to salamence), and lucario. made this battle easy.
