Did you use a CNC milling machine ?

A workmate turned down the ammo dispenser disc on a conventional milling machine , ...the frame I've drilled out around its outline and after cut the remaning ridges with a metal saw , ...filed everything smooth .

The interiors I've cut out with my little hobby routing machine , which has a crosswise moving table . Thanks , ......cheers , diemai

just a shame you didnt leave the fork tips a little longer i dont like loops and epoxy as the pressure is way to much for powerful bands - also it spoils the look of what would have been a great alloy shooter made with time and patience but spoiled with cheep looking loops - nice vid though all the same - regards john(gamekeeper catapults uk)

Thanks John , ............in fact the aluminium piece , that I gathered from the scrabyard of my work wasn't big enough for longer fork ends , .............and I was also focussed on Chinese style band attachement , ........I'm regreting it now , as I seem to manage better with flatbands , ....still a newbie , though .

But I'd really be surprised , if the eyebolts should ever come loose , their shafts are pretty long , almost all the way down to the inner ammo magazine groove .

@61diemai you could always remove the loops and use it as a low fork flatband shooter (add some elastic grooves) i reckon it would be great as i like low forks with flatbands - if you ever need any tapered theraband gold band set ups then be sure to check out 'gamekeeper catapults' on e-bay i have one similar i made from alloy - check my vids....fitted with double tapered bands its a great hunting catapults and puts out 265fps on the chrony - regards john

Thanks for that hint , ..........I haven't even thought about this yet as the forks are rather low , .........but surely might work out , though .

I have attached doubled "Theratube Red" by now ,..... but haven't shot it yet , .........slingshot hunting is illegal in Germany , anyway , ...still doing target practise with smaller ammo , anyway .
