  • Man With No Name - Sugar Rush (Astrix remix)

    :D

  • @TheMennoXD Ya, that's the worst of the 5 or so versions, sorry, just my opinion.

  • @TheClassicalSymphony Wtf? Seriously? It's just the same as this song but put in a new, more modern jacket. I really think it's amazing trance

  • @TheMennoXD No the Astrix is different....hear my new remix of this at my other channel "DevoteeTrance"....and don't forget to give me a green thumb!"

  • The first time I ever heard this was on a BBC radio 1 mixset in the early 90' by paul oakenfold on a saturday night. To this day it is still my number one favourite tune of all time.

  • Wow, have just found this tune on youtube by accident. Heard it on an old Dj Sasha tape (son of god I think) and it makes you feel those butterflies again. Amazing track. LOng live Youtube.

  • Please post psygone`s remix of this tune, i never was able to find it rather than on a mix!

  • Sugar Rush and Possessed is the best MWNN tracks IMO

  • denne snagen minner meg om en svensk kammerat av meg , som flyttet til sverige etter og ha bodd i norge leeenge... god times :)

  • this brings back memories from the old days..."resan" har jag inte hört tidigare, men nu vet man :)

  • this song in swedish is caller "Resan" which menas "the Trip" or "the journey" ..

    so fucking amazing!

  • Great melody! ;)

  • This Song is a total, Mindtrip! . Everyone that has experienced this song and had felt its extremely powerful Mind inducing ,or higher plateau, climbing ascention into. Serioniin Max-out bliss. Hands down , drugs or not. This song is one of the best in the world

  • there´s no way that could ever describe it better...

  • I swear. This is one of the most remembered and memory enducing techno songs ever. Ive been reading nothing but people sayin that this sing brings back so much memories. As it does with me as well. the Memories coming back so vividly and so fast. Like a Cascading Tsunami. This song is so good , i listen to it and it brings shivers down my spine.

  • April 95 , Paris , and this tune. much memories...

  • love this song!!!

  • First of all: This is not the original version of the song, it's the (Refined mix) wich can be found on his first album "Moment of Truth". The original version has a much more distorted bassdrum with a more bouncy rythm. 2nd of all this is the first GOA track i EVER heard and it's definitely close to my heart. Gosh i miss those day :-\

  • that version you are talking about is called "Raw mix". It can be found on the single.

  • Haha, I just had to hear it. A classmate was on about it so much after I while I liked it a bit too...

Not sure what I actually think about it yet..

  • worship MWNN! but this is corny

  • got this on 12 inch and i am in the process of trying to find it on mp3-an absolute masterpiece from yesteryear.they dont make em like this anymore...think i might do a remix

  • Gotta love man with no name, though this isn't one of his better songs.

  • It´s strange. Everytime I hear this tune I´m so filled with love and happiness. Hart to describe.

It also reminds me of my experiences of drugs (maybe the title "sugar rush"?)

Anyway... A great songs, with great emotions. I hope I´m not alone with that view =)

  • don't worry, many people feel the same

  • @DieSchwarzeEva you are not!

  • Bought this CD in Amsterdam in 1996 unfourtunataly the DJ´s in Örebro Sweden didnt play the song due the so called Svenne-techno. Like Dr Alban. It sucked.

But is a damn good song.

  • I remember Paul Oakenfeld playing this at Tribal Gathering around 95 or 96 in the trance tent around 6am.

A lot of other tents had moody vibes - a lot of people finding refuge in that tent, but this tune was so amazing everyone was happy and totally flying.

    .

  • WOW such a good track i almost forgot how much i love this masterpiece.

  • Stick this one in a time capsule and launch it into deeeeep into space.....Some tunes need to be heard by everyone and this is one of them. Classic.

  • that has to be the best reply ive heard in a long while !! so true .

  • @rcmarc69 you are so right, best comment ever read! *thumbs up*

  • OOhhh! Choon! 1996! Luv it!!!

    Martin Freeland waz tha dude!!!

  • reminds me of winter 1996. Love this tune!

  • Timeless.

  • Ah memories. I think this is the version from his album in 1996. There's also a "refined mix" he did and I forget how that sounds. Interestingly MWNN did "Way out West" in 1990 I think, one of the earliest trance-ish songs (I don't think anyone called it trance as a genre though at the time). Sugar Rush is MWNN's best though in my opinion.

  • tune!

  • tixxican, i have DJ'd this tune in clubs many times "back in the day", and yes, it sounds banging, but....this is not the original version of this tune, this was released on Perfecto records about 3 years after the original was released on the first "Concept in Dance" triple vinyl in 1993.

  • Concept in Dance "Digital Alchemy" Google it ya noobs.

  • This has got to be one of the tightest and most bangin dance tracks ever produced...I dream one day of hearing it in a club. Cheers for the memory.

  • @tixxican great comment. also wishing for.

  • One of my favourite songs... I could listen to it every single minute!!!
