  • the frame is probably stock. UL? plus hardtail. the front end is just fork covers i would think but cool as fuck. i love this bike

  • @canadachop not a UL frame, it is an oem knuck frame (or a good repop). Those forks are VARD, an aftermarket fork from the 40's.

  • @gsand88 cool i just googled vard forks they look sweet (stupid question) do you know anyone who makes a reproduction of these forks

  • @canadachop No repops, they are pretty desireable and not common. I think they were pretty expensive, the trees were made of Brass. I Guess you could get a similar look with MCM fork covers ( lots of repops, originals are worth a bit)

  • whats this bitch doing holding the accelarator

  • @DazedConfused1969 shes turning it like mad, only a little bit

  • harleys wernt made for asians

  • Not enough weight on the starter, obviously. Get a fat guy, but I guess they're hard to come by in Japan.

  • can anyone speculate as to what frame that is? or at least approx dimensions? btw, whats that front end, is it solid?

  • nix

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Cold mornings must be tough

  • bueno a estas alturas ya habrá podido hacer andar la jodida máquina

  • kawaii

  • So.. did she ever get it started?

  • It helps to wear boots, too.

  • its that bike again.. I love that one. Awesome rat look!

  • Poor lady. She just hasn't got quite enough grit in her ass to kick it hard enough. It's firing, but just barely. A+ for effort!!!

  • are these engines better than the electric start harleys? i see a lot of these in youtube...wondering why people like them despite having hard time starting

  • @EvendimataE . its a classic harley. a true harley. when harley was truely a harley not this shit now days

  • @EvendimataE these motors are 70 years old.....

  • Comment removed

  • I actually think that was a guy trying to start the bike

  • This is my favorite biker chick on the planet! Heart of gold! Some people straddle the bike, like me, on my '47 knuck, some hit it from the right side. People do what is the most comfortable; and that is what she is doing....

  • Play the video again and look. The little lady would have a foot and a of half crotch clearance on that bike if she was properly on it.

Bullet's right, get on that thing. Standing beside a bike while you kick start it is stupid. Makes no more sense than key starting your car through the side window from standing outside it. I've been kick starting bikes for fourty years. Never stood beside one yet nor laid one down starting it.

  • little woman can barely toch the ground while sitting on it, so immagine you have to kickstart that, thats why they kickstart it on the right side, bigger people can start it standing over the bike, one foot left and one on the kickstarter.

  • Kick start Servi Car in the background too,

  • I start my ironhead the same way. Nothing wrong with that, as long as it starts!

  • A woman is just the useless stuff surrounding/attached to the vagina.

  • Le dijeron si la haces arrancar te regalo un BMW y bue hay teens los resultados XD

  • Kick start: FAIL

  • why do folks start a bike standing on the right side of it??? get on the bike, stand up, and kick the mutherfucker with your right leg, and when you come down, let the left leg touch the ground again. this is how you drop a bike. how STUPID.

  • Thought I was the only one who noticed that with all of these "kickstarting old bikes" videos...

  • i agree..

  • @bulletman100 The fact of the matter is, she's not heavy enough to kick start a Knuck'. Doesn't matter how she stands.

  • @ExUSSailor nope. The back cylinder hits right before the front, since they have a single pin crank. You set the back cylinder on the comp. stroke, kick it, then the front one hits and it starts (theoretically... we are talking about harleys, after all). you have a lot less control and leverage starting it this way. Thanks for your post though!

  • @bulletman100 Well, the only bike I have personal experience kick starting, is my Ural. It's a different animal all together, very low compression (8.5:1), and, since it's a boxer, the kicker is perpendicular to the frame.

  • @bulletman100 some people are left footed you fucking dick

  • @jason12300 LOL stupid fucking idiot!!! Gosh I wonder why left handed people people dont reach over and shift gears in a car with their left hand then? LOLOL!!! Hey thanks for the laugh and have a nice life. (left footed... LOL!!! sorry it is still so funny! wow i guess left footed people get all confused with 1 down 4 up on the left side then too!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!)

  • @bulletman100 no you absolute fucking TWAT!!! you try starting a bike the same as this with your weaker leg you fucking cunt your abviusly gunna use your strongest leg arnt you!

  • @bulletman100 You are very wrong about starting a bike by getting on it first. The Japanese know what they're doing. If you look carefully - by being on the right side, your left leg is protecting the bike from dropping on it's right side if your right foot is still on the kick start.

  • @tlieu nope. Stand on the right side and you are very off balance, and your legs are crossed. you cant catch it if it falls to the left or right. Stand over it and you are in control of the bike, the balance, and your own Chi. Yes, the Japanese people as a whole do understand this, just not this girl. Just like most people as a whole know never to stand cross legged on the right. thanks for your post!

  • @bulletman100 I do agree that you should not cross your legs cause there's no balance. However, I'm afraid you are still very wrong. The Kickstand is on the left side of the bike acting as your left leg already. Also, by having the left leg on the right side, it's acting as a pole for the bike to lean on while you're kick starting the bike with your right leg. One final thing is that your legs are not crossed. The left leg is behind the right leg as if you're walking. Walking = Balance

  • @bulletman100 Watch how all the pros kickstart a vintage Harley. It's a pain in the ass. If people kickstart your way, what would happen if your right foot got caught or slipped on the kick start and the bike were to lean right. Then what? Your right foot will not catch the balance in time for a super heavy bike.

  • @bulletman100 you haven't tried starting a knucklehead yet then.

  • @bulletman100 its not a dirt bike, with as much compression as a harley has you'd never start it if you treat it like a dirtbike besides you can't drop it if the kickstand is out

  • @bulletman100 ur right

    man

  • @bulletman100 You obviously have never tried to start an old HD. These fuckers are hard to kick

  • @bulletman100 Have you ever kick started a bike? when you have 400 pounds of bike and a hard kickstart you stay on it and start it. Believe me I start a big Ural like that and is not the easiest thing.

  • @DalakusRex I have owned more than one old Harley without an elec. start, and countless big single dirt bikes. A Ural? -Seriously. A friend had one of those and it was better after he took the motor apart and got all the factory metal shavings out of it. Only a 650 too. You have to know how to start a 45 degree motor. Get rear jug on exhaust then kick it. it will fire once and make the front fire then it runs. 45 degree engine diff. from easy Ural that will tire you when it won't start.

  • @bulletman100 If you stand over a real harley and kick the starter you just jump up, or if you can kick it down ya better pray on new and old Gods that it wont kick back.

The only way is to stand on one side of the bike and feet like the lady has.

Only problem is that it takes 100Kg to just turn starter down depending on tranny, have seen one 76 shovel that took 180Kg biker to start it, and even he hoped that she wont brake his leg again.

    Thumbs up if I´m right

  • @felixchaus Since they designed the motor to fire out of time, get the front cylinder on the exhaust stroke. (The front fires just after the back one). Then you kick it. You get momentum going: hits one time on the rear then the front hits. then it starts. You get the rear on the exhaust stroke by feeling that long span with no compression, telling you that you are coming up on the rear cyl. firing. You use the rear to start the front, not your leg to start the front.

  • @apexironworks I know that you need to find "firing" place I do it every time even with lawnmower.

I was making comment about starting harley standing over the bike, and I believe that you agree that safest way is to do it like the lady does it and not by standing that bike is between your legs.

  • @felixchaus ugg... you were talking about it kicking back... it wont kick back if you get the timing right before you kick it. Standing straight over the bike puts you in control, not at a weird balancing angle. the only reason to side-kick would be more weight, but we just established you dont need weight, just the correct stroke timing. kick smarter, not harder. hey THANKS FOR YOUR POSTS! bye now.

  • woman cant do nothing

  • 私はこの自転車の愛

  • kick start only cool if thay work the first time

  • have to give the lil 110 pounder credit, she tried her heart out

  • knuckle won

  • This is why you should weigh at least 300lbs. before buying a kick-start Harley.

  • its not all about weight, or putting your ass into it. its all about setting the points just right. then using the left side "throttle" wich controls the timing and everything. just turn it enough until the generator just moves a little bit then kick it over a few times while the key is off then turn the bike on and choke it a bit then kick it over and wala it should start

  • Don't let her go, a women that will clean your bike is hard enough to find, let alone one that will start it for you.

  • Arf. ^^. It's already fun to start a bigtwin with a kick.

I want a kick!!!! Good luck for the other start. :p

    (sorry fot my poor english)

  • not every day u get to see a decent lookin asian chick kicken

    some nice american cycles

  • Just need a little more meat on those bones hun. ;)

  • Yeah she's just not that heavy. Good try though.

  • I'll give a "A+" for effort. She gave it her best shot. She just not heavy enough to kick that old thumper over. I'm glad it didn't load up and kick back on her, could' flipped her right over the bars. Sweet looking old Knuckle, I have a '47

  • old school !!! nice nuckle !!

  • 2:0 for bike

  • Да. Надо было начинать с "Урала".

  • now why did yall do that to her? she dosent even weigh enough to kick a dirt bike. shes gonna get hurt

  • did she win?

  • I dunno, but she gets my vote :P
