However, once you clear the stars out of your eyes, I would add that even if it were true, which is debatable, you'd never know it from this performance (or any performance from the 70's for that matter). John Lennon said it best. "Elvis died in the army." When he got out, it was never the same. The Sun Records period and early RCA stuff was the best. After that, it just wasn't the same. It wasn't even close.
