  • Who's the guy driving with Dalida at 3:50? Does anybody know?

    Thank you

  • @ameroffsky

you mean at 1:50, this photos represent one of Dalida's outdoor toors with lebanese soldiers ! Dalida sang the last time in Beirut in 1975, this photo was taking during that visit as she was in a jeep with soldiers, that was just before the civil war of lebanon.

  • Beautiful song for a beautiful and misunderstood COUNTRY... Lebanon paid the price for all the other Arab countries But as of 2009, it's going to rise and be richer and more flourishing than it has ever been.

VIVE LE LIBAN SOUVEREIN, UNIQUE AU MONDE. VIVE LE LIBAN TERRE ET PEUPLE...

  • viiiiiiiiiiiiiive egypte avec liban

  • *tribute to Lebanon

  • A great song, Thanks Dalida for your lovely voice and feelings to a peaceful Lebanon!

  • That's really beautiful.************

    Shokran Dalida! Shokran ya Lebanon!

  • Renversante!

  • Oui, Dalida etait Egyptienne.

  • MERCY BEAUCOU FRANNOUJ

  • great!!

  • Hello, The lyrics of this song is written by the lebanese poet Abdel Hafiz Shamas (am proud to be his son) , and the music is composed by Jef Barnelle (French), it does have its video clip in the lebanese televiosions, but this videoclip is also very great, thx for your care about this song and about lebanon itself.

Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought.

  • Jonza thx for your comments i apreciate it... wish we can spread it and let all people know that Dalida also sang for lebanon

  • rip dalida! gr8 song really!

  • sezgintube, the main idea 4 this song is that life went back to normal in Lebanon, after war ended (eventhough it did not end at that Time But Dali was proactive)

as a quick summary she says after war and fire ended, Lebanon is Back more beautiful than it was, this awsome country with its nature, sun and moon, even Love tastes better under the Lebanese sky

she talks about the Capital Beirut, saying that it's a treasure, and saying that she misses the parties and nights she used to spend b4 etc..

  • frannouj, would you please translate the lyrics?
