@Gamers1011 It's not that expensive to make your own PC, and get a good graphics card. A 9800 GT is only about 100 bucks, and it should do very well. Playing video games on integrated graphics is just stupid. Build a desktop for like 700 bucks.
Hmm yes. I can build a gaming PC for 500 bucks. But still these are laptop owner, so they cant think of upgrading the graphics card. And also money doesn't grow on trees.
If it had been a PC case, then talking about graphics card is valid. And I would recommend a ATi Radeon 5750 1GB GDDR5 for 105 bucks, rather than outdated 9800GT.
@akash1988 I guess, but all your doing is showing performance. Is there really a huge audience for this one specific chipset, all who are gamers, all who are not smart enough to realize that if you want to play games, you don't do it on a shitty laptop?
@akash1988 actually i disagree with your xp vs 7 comment
i run most of my games in xp since they run smoother with the few exceptions i need the intel driver management tool
though the few games i run in windows 7 run smoother or as smooth after using that tool as if they were in xp... so since i have that tool i might get rid of xp one of these days.... lol
I have dual boot XP and 7. And from the beginning of making this channel, I have tested games on both. And I have seen each and every game (except few) run better in 7 than in XP. My first video Dark Sector on X3100, I have shown both XP and 7. That time there was no Intel tool or modded drivers for 7. There was hell and heaven difference. Even Dead Space was much more playable on 7, as Win7 has better RAM management than XP.
Check my first Dark Sector vid and use modded drivers.
@punkaaron69 but i do sorta believe you, though you'd have to tweak out your system to play some of the games i see on your channel no matter what os you are on, since i still use both...
cause i did use 3dmark03 on both partitions and the win7 one did get a slightly higher score (think 1500 for xp and 1700 for 7)
im wondering what modded drivers you are using since i sorta did mine myself...
Its playable by X3100 standards means 15-20 FPS. But only if you use software vertex mode, for which you need a good processor.
No game is worth buying to play on X3100. I seriously recommend not to buy games on X3100. Get a decent budget gaming PC, and then buy games and play on it.
well on this vid it's not even close to playable

Why even bother playing a game on such a bad card?
SgtMustang 1 year ago
@SgtMustang
Hmm because people are stuck with Intel X3100 on their laptops, so they cannot think of upgrading.
akash1988 1 year ago
@SgtMustang its because we (people who have x3100) just dont have enough money to buy a better computer

@akash1988 Scrap the laptop, build a desktop.
The gaming desktop would cost as much as a shitty laptop anyways.
Problem solved.
SgtMustang 1 year ago
@SgtMustang
Thats the problem with you guys. When did I say I required a Desktop? I already have a gaming desktop. Check my profile.
I am testing games on my laptop for those unfortunate who are suck with Intel graphics on laptops.
I play all games on highest graphics settings on 1336x768 resolution. I test games to help others.
akash1988 1 year ago
@akash1988 Btu why would anyone want to play a game like this? Why don't they just build a gaming PC, or a console?
SgtMustang 1 year ago
@SgtMustang
If a person cannot afford to buy a Gaming PC or console only for gaming, and already has a laptop for other works, what shall he do?
I'm just helping out. But I have also stopped testing games now on Intel graphics, as present games run very crap.
akash1988 1 year ago
@akash1988 A decent laptop will often cost $600-800 plus, a very decent gaming PC can be built with that much money.

Those who already have made a mistake and bought a laptop with Intel graphics, whats for them? I am helping those people out.

@SgtMustang
Yup. There are lots who are stuck with Intel graphics. They didnt realize that before buying the laptop.

can i use vertex mode if i am running windows XP?
ACro29 1 year ago
@ACro29
No. Software Vertex Mode tool works only in Windows 7. And by the way, all games run bad in XP. So its wise to shift to Windows 7.
akash1988 1 year ago
@akash1988 actually its possible. but it should be done manually.

Hmm Dead Rising 2 runs horrible on Intel X4500. So its definitely unplayable on X3100.
I dont test games anymore on X3100.

Akash thanks for testing games on x3100, you are like my hero, but try not to talk in abstraction. What does mean by "Playable game"?
Please add how much FPS you get for every game so we can have idea if the game is worth buying.
