I forgot to set the brakes on my tractor trailer once. It rolled into a chain link fence. No damage to the truck or fence for it just gently rested against it. Got fired a couple weeks later anyway.

that's why in europe they made trailer brake outside near rear axles of trailer. You have to use rig's parking brake first and then move ass from cab block trailer's wheels.

I was a security guard a few years back. I've seen some very weird things happen with trucks. For example: after I checked the seal and the papers, I cleared him for the gate. he got halfway out and the trailer breks in two blocking the gate and the street

Nope, on Petes the brake works on the wrong drive axle and what can happen is when you drop the trailer, the airbag lifts the axle with the brake off the road and away you go.

This guy is trying to unhitch his trailer at our loading dock and forgot to set the airbrakes on his rig. When he pulls the release from the 5th wheel, the rig takes off and comes within a few feet the parked cars.
