so that martial law can be implemented. also so that the new clause in the lisbon treaty can be used by the state - whereby the death penalty is not allowed except in the case of riots, upheaval and civil unrest.

peaceful protests is the way to go. sit down protesters being beaten by riot police is harder for the media to spin than demonstrators fighting with them.

we do grow potaoes and onions, tomatos and many other food likte that, We have our own sheeps, horses and cows. We make our own milk and yougurts. But some of the stuff we need to make these things we get from other countries. I think we will survive. I dont live in Reykjavík and I dont feel any different then before all this. Only thing i feel is that the food cost more.
