This guy is brilliant... it amazes me how someone could call this Acid Techno and dismiss it so quickly... culturally deprived neanderthal. It's purely experimental and a fusion of so many different sounds that it doesn't fit in a genre of music. While it does use electronic sounds, it's not fucking techno. It's something completely different and with a lively expression of its own.

The instrument is called a Monome. The instrument looks like a panel full of LCD-Lights and buttons. You preprogram it to play certain sounds/loops about pressing a button. It's pretty interesting looking.
