In time, you will no doubt develop your own style, perhaps radically different from what you are doing today, but you have a foundation in some really good music, and a wide varietyu of role models in the people who have covered Doug's or your father's music, and in those whose music they cover. You have had a headstart and seem to be going in a good direction with it.

The phone booth is an excellant symbol of that connection with the past, a physical link to someone who has helped shape who and what you are today.
