@gracie1805 they are called xoloitzcuintli actually, easier to say mexican hairless dog for english speaking folks, its Nahuatl, the aztecs kept this dogs for killing pest, guard dogs and for food. There is even a Mexican team soccer team from Tijuana named after this dog and is their official Mascot, "Los Xoloitzcuintli's de Caliente Club or Club Tijuana"
@gracie1805 there's two different breeds. pervians have spots. Mexican hairless have a solid color. they're ears are both also difference. the mexican breed has bigger bat like ears and the peru breed has a candle framed ear which lay back. The Xolo have been worshiped by mexican tribes for over 3000 years. please do your research. i was confused at first too :)
They are not Mexican xD the breed is called Peruvian Hairless dog :D
