She was unhappy with the thigns she had done in her life, and the pain she had brought into the world, through FOXDIE, through Vamp, through everything really. She felt responsible for a lot of things and was also feeling stifled "drowning in nanomachines [she] had surrounded [herself] with", so wanted to let nature take its course and kill her with the cancer.
