no naval fights, no terrible monsters, no plot, a super human tree-bending pirate, stupid guars with muskets and swords that cant kill a guy with a rope, and also a pirate that flyes off a tree without breaking a leg, i've also noticed the spanish people werent shown even 10 minutes, what a piece of shit, atleast the others were fun to watch, what a waste of my time... i totally agree with this guys, but jesus, let the fucking bald guy make a point.

meh...I liked the movie.
I mean come on, every serie of movies has a disappointment.
The plot with davy jones and all that shit was finished, and then completely making another story, without losing the audience can be pretty hard.
And beside of that, the pirates of the caribbean movies are already fun enough without a good story, as long johnny depp is in it.

The only thing that other guy had to say was "no one in the audience cared"...well when you tell people how they were thinking pal you'll find that NO ONE will care about your opinion...anyway, mediocre review by two film snobs...while I will admit Depp's performance was not up to par, Rush was excellent and McShane gave an intriguing take on Blackbeard. The mermaid scene did get out of hand, true, but come on, you really want people to believe there was nothing good in the movie? It was fine.
