I totally recommend laser!!! I'm like you; I find shaving a huge pain in the butt, so I finally forked over the money to do laser and it has been awesome. (BTW Groupon has AWESOME deals, at least for SoCal, like...insane.) I was nervous at first too, but after the first session you realize it's not bad at all, and I'm slowly working my way to getting my legs done too.

Well my armpit was doesn't turn black until I start shaving them...I try to use vitamin E lotions to help, but it doesn't turn my under arm back to white...It's so frustrating!!! And I never once use deodorant...lol. Do you know any product that make my armpit skin get white again???

Exfoliating gloves (the nylon kind) are better than the 'poof' thingies, because they exfoliate so much better and you can throw them in the washing machine once a week.

Okay so I usually pluck my upper lip, but i was recently introduced to "Shaving Powder" and when I told her shaving gives youu a greyish tint on youur face she took all her makeup off just to prove to me that it works, she didnt have any so i tried and guess what! My upper lip is grey, bumpy AND it burns!! @spaceanduniverse27 A lot of asians tend to get these little skin bumps, its actually a skin type many of us have. It could also just be ingrown hairs, id try gentle exfoliation and yes moisturizing, I think it would help quite a bit :)

@MszJackieChu to be honest i get those too but what it comes down to is most likely you're shaving your legs too much and the dry skin is being cut w/ the razor so try not to shave your legs for a few days or 4 days at a time n keep on putting on lotion but i strongly recommend Jergens Ultra Healing moisture and take vitamin "E" EVERY day. & since i did that for over a year now i don't have those problems so when you wash use Gentle exfoliating scrub trust me it'll help! :D

@PeruvianL3 o!! n def once you get out of the shower and yes def put on lotion EVERY time you get out of the shower but then right after you leave the bathroom cover up! reason why once you put on long pants n long sleeves it helps keep the warmth n lotion on your skin to seep in and it'll absorb it better and later your skin will be EXTREMELY smooth i do this every time (my mama gave me these tips) and it works NO LIE! :D

I agree as well about how the lotions from stores such as BBW and Victoria Secret don't do a good job at all. Frankly, I don't call them real lotion and I never waste my money on them. I kind of find it surprising how many people don't understand that these lotions don't do much for your skin, but I guess some people just don't have problem skin.

You should try the gold bond ultimate softening skin therapy lotion!! I used to use cetaphil before, but Ive been using that for like 3 years so I tried out that new lotion. I got it in Shea butter , that softens your skin. You can gt them from drugstores. But I really like to use this lotion both on my body and face cause it smells good!! But when I used it on myface, it brightened it up, my dark acne spots were hidden and my face looked a lot more healthier. It's goodfor oily skin too :)

if you don't like to scoop it, you can buy the cetaphil Moisturizing lotion in a plastic bottle. Same thing very moisturizing :) I love it..I use it on my armpits haha!!

Or don't put deodorant on when your armpit it still moist it allows bacteria to grow

@Spad3y actually the way many deodorants work is that they either stop the perspiration or they kill/inactivate bacteria. Putting it on wet wont allow the bacteria to grow more, but it may hamper your deodorant's effectiveness because I dont think deodorant will adhere as well to wet skin

@thesecretsofkat haha well youre not really "supposed" to do anything, but its still skin (and visibile skin at that) so I dont see why you wouldnt moisturize it. Particularly if you use deodorant which can be very harsh/drying

I have a sweating problem,too anf I doubt it's heredity since my parents don't sweat so much, and neither my siblings. I do get energetic so it makes me get hot D; my palms too, it's so annoying, I gave up dancing because i was too embarrased to swet in front of people. It's holding me back on so many things.

@starfirechik it is genetic :) some people simply have overactive sweat glands (particularly that sweaty palm condition you described) I know people do crazy stuff like shoot botox injections in to their underarms. If its seriously affecting your quality of i'd talk to a doctor (i think theres other cures too but im not aware of them :[)

I know one person who never ever have to use a deodorant because his underarms dont get smelly. NEVER. even after playing tennis and his body is full of sweat it doesnt smell bad. , normally for most people if you dont use a deodorant you get a smelly armpit. he's blessed to have odorless armpits. isnt it amazing?

@kerichen i know you're asking jackie, but i figured i'd help you too :) i think it's probably the type of strapless bra you're wearing, because mine work very well. get a nice one from v. secret or something. or you can use stick ons, which just stick on your boobs haha which r rlly good for backless shirts and stuff. hope this helps :)

I think if you sprayed your body (bare skin) right after you apply Cetaphil, you'd still smell good. No real need to mix the body spray and lotion together in your hands. ;)

deoderants contain varying levels of aluminium so if you do shave & then apply it the small surface cracks in your skin will soak up the aluminium which is .. not good since it collects in the brain so that's another reason not do apply it straight away
