I do clearly remember that 30 years ago:
1- BBC radio (Farsi Language) called Khomeini as "The Ganhi of Iran"
2 FranceTV interviewed Khomeini as a spiritual leader like Diala Lama.
3-US did not support Shah and encourage him to leave Iran.
4- The west media showed Shah of Iran as the worst dictator ever (with millions of political prisoners in jail and under torture!).Shah announced in 1976 that Iran will not extend the 25 years exclusive contract with British Oil after expire date in 1979.
