I think he showed an easy way to achieve good skin & its actually the way ive been doing it except I also reduce my duplicate layer opacity after im finished. Maybe theres a better way & instead of puting him down you could add some good tips on how you do skin. Who knows what your retouching looks like since you are pointing fingers & judging instead of also being helpful to those who want to learn.

You guys are so rude. First off any pro retoucher knows theres a billion ways to do the same thing in Photoshop its all about preference & what works for you. Second you dont have to have a pen tablet to be good thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard. Someone with an I-phone that knows about photography can easily outshoot someone with a Hasselblad that doesnt. Equipment doesnt make you better.
