Geordie is a genius. His riffs are monstruous. Where the fuck does he come up with them? they're beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for posting this. Nice job.
That is very, very good (not that I play myself..I play bass) and reminds me of what a genius Geordie was. My two favourite guitarists are Keith Levene and John McGeoch...Geordie has to be the third, when I think about it .Saw a programme on BBC recently where a public vote put Jimmy Page and Hendrix up there as the best of all time...now no disrespect to those guys, they, along with Townshend and others, are/were great guitarists, but for MY generation they don't hold a candle to these three guys
my favorite three guitarists are also levene mcgeoch and walker... i'm at that point we can listen to the first blues recordings to lady gaga (not that i want to)
i'm in sheffield and 19, so the closest thing to something interesting that has ever happened to me is arctic monkeys, who i don't like.
so i've got hendrix, page, john mcgeoch, levene, walker, josh homme, jack white, leadbelly, john lee hooker son house.60's garage etc
everything exists together on itunes for my generation
It is obvious that you have studied hard on getting there as close as possible. Often interpretations fail miserably because of too many misheard bits. Well done, this.
a bloody amazing guitar, i have played similar hollowbody guitars from gibson and others for like 10 times the price and they feel and sound awful in comparison...
@R3DBL4X thanks very much, that's another thing i've found, people seem to have difficulty finding a good sound, just read a few interviews and you can make a good approximate... i think the key is ADT
@JJAAHH i have to agree completely with what you said about "the wait". I searched for it and all i could find were kids playing the metallica version. Although I am a big Metallica fan, and it's because of them I am a killing joke fan....their version sucks all the soul and meaning from the song...maybe it's time you upload your version!! Would be well impressive to see Geordies unreal harmonix and that amazing chorus riff up close!!
What tuning is this in?

Yes JJAAHH... This is the way I play it too, but I still have a doubt about the second High-pitched chord... I'll send you a tab...
"The Pandys Are coming" I think you can easily see what Geordie plays in the intro / verses in the 25th Gathering Live vid (also on youtube)...
Great job man ! Cheers !
