  • What tuning is this in?

  • @BinauralBrainwave d standard i think, it was a while since i did this video

  • not that sure on the right notes, but sounds good anyway ;)

    a gatherer

PS: i d'like to watch a version of"Mathematics of chaos" :D really hard to play

    keep on playing dude!

  • @HeartandSoul59 sounds close enough to me

  • @JJAAHH to me too im not telling its wrong ! ;) (so , mathematics of chaos :) ? )

  • you nailed it, kid ... I like.... I saw them open a set in toronto with this track in 1982 ... it's on the HA! live ... I consecrate you !

  • @wilfrid55 thankyou very much

    sub me please

any requests of anything at all?

  • @JJAAHH Killing Joke is pretty much all I care for, so how about "Pandy's are Coming" from the same album ....

  • @JJAAHH you can also try Bloodsport and Aeon ...

  • Geordie is a genius. His riffs are monstruous. Where the fuck does he come up with them? they're beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for posting this. Nice job.

  • do you have any tabs written for this? what chord is the third one around the A position 5th fret?

  • That is very, very good (not that I play myself..I play bass) and reminds me of what a genius Geordie was. My two favourite guitarists are Keith Levene and John McGeoch...Geordie has to be the third, when I think about it .Saw a programme on BBC recently where a public vote put Jimmy Page and Hendrix up there as the best of all time...now no disrespect to those guys, they, along with Townshend and others, are/were great guitarists, but for MY generation they don't hold a candle to these three guys

  • @MrTulip65

my favorite three guitarists are also levene mcgeoch and walker... i'm at that point we can listen to the first blues recordings to lady gaga (not that i want to)

i'm in sheffield and 19, so the closest thing to something interesting that has ever happened to me is arctic monkeys, who i don't like.

so i've got hendrix, page, john mcgeoch, levene, walker, josh homme, jack white, leadbelly, john lee hooker son house.60's garage etc

everything exists together on itunes for my generation

  • @JJAAHH Yeah good point mate

  • That's seriously good fuckn guitar-playing man

  • @Hellishcrusade thanks

  • killer mate!

    hailz from richmond upon james,virginny

    damon

  • Gerodie is an amazing and much underrated guitarist. Thank you!

  • It is obvious that you have studied hard on getting there as close as possible. Often interpretations fail miserably because of too many misheard bits. Well done, this.

  • Cool. good sound.

    Looks like a Washburn.

  • @synar Thanks a lot

It is indeed a Washburn J3

a bloody amazing guitar, i have played similar hollowbody guitars from gibson and others for like 10 times the price and they feel and sound awful in comparison...

it's a relatively cheap GEM, i'd reccomend them

  • good job, really! great sound & nice guitar... you're good, man!

  • @R3DBL4X thanks very much, that's another thing i've found, people seem to have difficulty finding a good sound, just read a few interviews and you can make a good approximate... i think the key is ADT

  • Yes JJAAHH... This is the way I play it too, but I still have a doubt about the second High-pitched chord... I'll send you a tab...

"The Pandys Are coming" I think you can easily see what Geordie plays in the intro / verses in the 25th Gathering Live vid (also on youtube)...

Great job man ! Cheers !

  • @KJgtabs i have the 25th gathering dvd and all i could get is the bit i've already uploaded, i'll have another look thanks

  • @JJAAHH i have to agree completely with what you said about "the wait". I searched for it and all i could find were kids playing the metallica version. Although I am a big Metallica fan, and it's because of them I am a killing joke fan....their version sucks all the soul and meaning from the song...maybe it's time you upload your version!! Would be well impressive to see Geordies unreal harmonix and that amazing chorus riff up close!!

  • Excellent!
