accuchek is so bad my doctor does not prescribe it. she only prescribes minimed animas and omnipod. i am switching from pod to animas.

ohhh. first of all it could be that the needle is to big for you. ( i use a 6mm needle) and maybe the reason why it hurts so much is that the needle gets all the way to the muscle. you should talk to your doctor for more help :)

im kinda fat so i was reccommended to use an 8mm. still thinks it hurts, but then again i think everything hurts.. :)
