SOME crew lack experience maybe in coral economy, but try first and bussiness and u'll see the difference. nevertheless, i think it's the same in every big company...new staff will become better in time, with experience. we were all beginners at a certain point, let's not forget that. cheers!

I do agree, but its the opposite with Emirates. In economy class the new crew are very friendly, and the experienced cabin crew have so much attitude and are so rude to passengers. Some of them are even racist. I think this is something which makes Emirates not a 5 star airline. Are the Etihad crew like this too?

My last flight to and from Manila, I havent seen racism on board but the problem is that they're not always present in economy class, like they have lack of crew. I have seen that a passenger experianced having a 24hour delay flight of Etihad but I have my hopes up for Etihad.

i agree. safety on Qatar Airways, is terrible. When, their was severe turbulence, the seatbelt sign went on, and the crew continued to serve food, and one stewrdess dropped the tray of food on the floor, and it fell on someones bag!

Infact. My tv was also broken, and the seat couldn't recline cause their was something jammed in it.

And when we entered the aircraft at Doha, their was a piece of chewed gum lying on the seat.

I had to survive in that flight for 7 hours!!

Mohammed, that is actually incorrect. Etihad ordered 55 aircraft at Farnborough. They also identified themselves as being customers to another 45 or so aircraft from Boeing, which they ordered a while back. To get 205, EY added on their "options" which will most likely never be exercised, or will only be partially exercised, which is the case with many airlines. So no, Etihad is only making the public think that they ordered 205 aircraft. Happy travels :)
