  • Just wondering what camera your using? What kind of wax? I havn't had much luck with this myself

  • @john0270 I mainly use the Casio EXF1 Pro for all the high speed footage. For the wax I just used plain old candle wax, but pretty much any wax will work. I switched over to these types of slugs for all my videos after I made this vid and have had really good luck with them.

  • @CasioEXF1Freak Nice man! I was playing around again today with this and found that parafin wax produced more uniform results, it seems to be allot stronger wax. A $5-$6 1lb box at your local grocery store(should be with the canning stuff) would do about 150rds I would guess.

  • Makes me want to try this out, very cool.

  • @txmalcontent I haven't had time to try any at long range yet. I do know at close range its pretty nasty

  • whoa this vid just came up

  • i dont know if its just me, but the point of impact kinda looks like an out line of australia

  • interesting. Like do-it-yourself slugs.

  • @Spawn07O1 That pretty much sums it up and why I wanted to test it out after I found out what it was all about. I shoot nothing but slugs...but I have probably 20 boxes of different kinds of shot shells ( reloads ) I inherited. I was curious if you could really make a viable slug out of just shot and wax

  • @CasioEXF1Freak Pretty cool. What kind of range can you get on those?

  • @Spawn07O1 I haven't been able to test long range yet, but i plan on it when I can get some time to. I was shooting at a range of somewhere around 70 feet or so. I had no idea if these would stay solid or bust to pieces like the copper ones did...or even shoot straight for that matter.

  • ha, that last pic was epic

  • @1gbpackfan1 Thanks, I thought that was quite interesting myself.

  • The lead and steel shot appear to have become some sort of field-expedient slug. I think this is a better and safer alternative to cut shells.

  • this is awesome!

I thumbed up, favourite this video and featured this on my channel! ;-)

  • @SlaveZero1234 That is pure awsome! Thanks man!

  • kill the melons!

  • @wolfcookieo9 Melons are evil...unless they are female melons, but thats a whole other thing.

  • great video man got your self a new sub

  • @knifecrazycreator Hey thanks, and welcome aboard

  • Nice! I'm surprised they tumble so much!

  • @taofledermaus I had no idea what to expect... After I fired the first 3 copper rounds I was thinking this was going to be a waste of time. I only had 3 melons, but I'm glad now I kept shooting.
