It is a cool card trick. he lied about cutting the cards. it doesn't completely change the order. Arm thing is an old childrens trick, suprised it flies on a national TV show, but people seem impressed.

I used to be able to do a card trick very similar to this in like middle school... but I can't remember for the life of me how I did it or how the story went.

As for the hand trick, you can see he switched his hands when the camera zooms out. He does it while the camera is on him, not when it is cut to the audience. Watch his arms closely at 1:10, you can see he obviously switches their orientation.

@r315r4z0r You are probably thinking of the trick where you use just the royal cards. it is a great one that uses math. It literally takes no skill other than remember a few basic rules and the story. The story I use involves families in a hotel.

Pretty easy to see how it's done...

1:53 Watch him fan out the cards...they are already in order. Starting with the two ladies and ending with the straight flush.

2:08 He doesn't push the cards together after he shuffles...he covers with his hands, then pulls the two halves back out again. He even checks and shows you that it's in the same order.

He does actually cut the deck, but then you see him check out two cards so that he can place the order again...he does it again very quickly at 2:40

That dosn't explain it. He shuffled the deck after you see the cards in the right order. Even if he shuffled the cards perfictly, they still wouldn't be put back in the right order. Obviously the cards are put back into the right order at some point, but the shuffleing and cutting isn't just for show, and the cards don't stay in the same order while doing it.

if you pause at 1:53 you can see the entire order of the cards, which is the same with the order of the cards he was putting down. this means all that cutting and shuffling was for show. and at 2:09 he checks the order again to make sure he didn't mess up.

The camera angle is changed to a far view when he turns his right hand over to the proper position...as he is pointing to a person in the audience. When the camera angle changes back to a close up this arms are now in the proper position. It is a colaberation between the magician and the camerman.

for all of you that have no clue how he does it this is how. His deck is in a specific order. He does a fake shuffle at 2:05 and when he asks people to cut the deck he just has to cut the deck himself after so the 6 of spades is on the bottom. And during the trick when it looks like he's messing with the deck he's not doing shit. he's just making it look like he's cutting the deck over and over again

@henryk8675309 Every single one of those shuffles at the beginning are fake. Also, if you out a deck of cards in order, and cut it a bunch of times, you'll notice that the order doesn't change. (Go ahead. Try it with a face up deck. It's one of my favorite tricks.)

I don't know how he did it but if you look closely you can see every time the bottom card is visible it's the 6 of spades so somehow he keeps the cards in the correct order. (I know, "duh").
