Judging from the comments you guys don't know why he sings out of tone--He does it on purpose. He never sings the songs in concert like he does in the albums for the reason that, as I've heard, he (Adam) wants you to LISTEN to the song, and not simply hear it. Great band.

Hey, tell me about that! I live in Brazil, and never had a chance to him Couting Crows playing live! The only thing i noticed is that, sometimes, he sings live a little out of tone ...i don't know if he got better ...
