I liked Titanic as a kid, I like the movie without the romance part in it. Everything in the movie was based on true facts except the love story.

I don't like the term 'chick flicks' at all :O . I like watching romantic comedies though because of the comedy aspect. I dont recall ever watching a romantic film like the notebook or something. And I totes understand what you are saying too. haha there always seems to be a wedding thrown in aswell. There are complete shit rom-coms but there are good ones too. Although I wouldn't watch them again and agin like my fav action movies. I'm a LOTR girl meself.

I agree with you most of the time. There are two movies that I like, though; The Truth About Cats and Dogs is one; and The Jane Austen Book Club is the other one. Why? Because the main characters are (mostly) smart people, and the plots aren't too complicated. Yes, I'd usually watch a Star Trek movie or a good anime film, but those two are at least pretty good.
