  • honestly i don't know why i like twilight. breaking dawn in particular had a very weak story line, but something about it is just soo...delicious. i think edward is a great character and the whole thing would have been better without bella. the first few chapters of midnight sun were far more interesting than twilight, perhaps because it was from edwards perspective or perhaps twilight was just a practice for stephanie meyer and she decided to write properly in midnight sun. i just don't know...

  • THE TRUTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN,

  • i liked the video before it even started, just by reading the title X)

  • I always think that fans of the series were sucked in by the first book, and in their defense they had no way of knowing where the story would end up. ah, i'm so glad to have learned from their mistake and dodged that bullet!

  • My favorite part? Well, it's not in the book. It's when Renesmee is dating Jacob and he's like "Oh yeah, remember that time I made out with your mom and I was in love with her? WHOOPS!"

    If only...

  • The only good thing about breaking dawn was that Bella died. Only for a while but still. And the video is way cool

  • Eeerrmmmm...................... I got nothing

  • If there was anything I liked about ANY of the movies it was Taylor Lautner. But the books, nothing.

  • There is one thing, JUST ONE THING, I liked about Breaking Dawn, and that was Renesmee's name, although I can never spell it. I like strange names.

  • I liked it because it was the last Twilight book... hahaha jk, I never liked it. When I went to see HPDH2 for the 4th time, they showed a freaking Breaking Dawn trailer and my friend and I kept freaking out, we were angered.

  • @anythinggal i would have outright booed that shit lol

  • this is my new favorite song, I love this so much!

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And sorry Twilight fans, but Weasleys are obviously way better than stupid Cullens

  • ... I'm in love with this.

  • I don't like Twilight or Harry Potter...

  • It was... well there were werewolves... but frankly it was the topic of the wolves that kept me reading. A very good point. Especially from a literary perspective, though, it's particularly bad; so many displays of poor writing, and as far as literature goes, it had very few, if any, redeeming qualities. You're by far the best werewolf, so Jacob can just go marry a baby with a weird name or something.

  • lol i thought the same thing Alex! I am a die hard HP fan but i gave the twilight books a try and i did like them.... until Breaking Dawn! It was horrible and wish i would of never read it!

  • This song has a vocab word - that means I get extra credit for finding it!!! Yay, watching this has actually improved my grade. THANK YOU!

  • Finally somebody says(or sings) what I've been trying to explain to people(specifically my sister) Thanks fot that!

  • "Or the super-believable anti-climactic ending?"

    I. KNOW.

Honestly, I hated the first book, kind of liked the second, actually enjoyed the third, and FUCKING DESPISED the shitstorm of stupidity that was Breaking Canon---oops, I mean Breaking Dawn.

It builds up to a huge Meyerpire battle for like, 500 pages, and then...the head bad guy kills, like two of them, and everyone goes home.

    WTF.

  • everyone says that they didnt like the movie, but my opinion is that the movie wasnt bad, but the book was soo much better :)

  • My favourite part of Breaking Dawn? When I got to the end and there were no more pages left.

  • The heart of the reason why I do not like Breaking Dawn is that Stephanie Meyer cannot write a sad ending. I mean, I'm sure she has the ability, but she just won't! Some characters don't get happy endings! Some characters can't be immortal or in love. And the ones that don't get to be are for more interesting to me than the ones that do. What about Leah? She's just made out to be annoying but she's got one of the most interesting stories in the series. Bella and Edward have no substance.

  • @NeauxWai The characters that don't get to be immortal or in love are far** more interesting..

So Meyer should let some main characters' stories not end all sunshine and rainbows... it would have made a far more interesting story. I'm sorry, but Bella is just "good at being a vampire?" The most difficult part of her story is glossed over cuz she's just somehow predestined to be an awesome vampire. And just happens to be the exact kind of powerful that can stop the Volturi and their gang? Please.

  • @NeauxWai Leah is amazing. The only Twilight woman who doesn't need a man by the end, and the only reason why I sort of like Twilight.

  • just thought i would let you know that you are basically my new hero! this video/song is amazing, as well as you :) so yeah

  • Dear Alex, Wesley will always be my king.

    Love,

    Abby.

  • Breaking Dawn the book made me throw it across the room. Breaking Dawn the movie made me smile. :)

  • I read Breaking Dawn and liked it because of the fantastic literary scheming Meyer used in it. I loved all the twists she put into it, especially the part where Bella becomes a vampire. My favorite part by far was when Jacob imprinted on Bella's newborn infant, because it was so relate-able. I fall in love with babies all the time.

I'm kidding of course. Nobody likes Breaking Dawn.

  • I actually liked Breaking Dawn better than the other Twilight movies. I don't know...it was just better. :P

  • Twilight series was a guilty pleasure for me. When my book liking fell into "must be scifi teen romance novel" time of my life. I really enjoyed up until Breaking Dawn, i was happy they lived happily forever after but...the plot was just so predictable even with the "new idea" Steph had. In the end, Harry Potter will always win. It's an epic fandom that's more than a movie franchise like Twilight has become and been blown up by the media that I really hope The Hunger Games doesn't fall prey to.

  • My new ringtone.

  • what did people like about breaking dawn

    the sex

  • I liked the fact that the book was really thick. It has potential as a hiding place (glue the pages together and cut out the middle); no one would ever pick it up and try to read it.

  • I liked that Bella almost died.

  • gah, marry me? (no seriously though)

  • OMG SRSLY ALEX I LOVE TWILITE SO MUCH AND I LIKD ALL THE BIG WORDS U USED IN THE SONG AND I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THEM BUT I NO THEY MUST HAVE MENT YOU REALLY LIKD IT CUZ I REALLY LIKED TWILIGHT AND BREAKING THE DOWN IS MY FAVRIT MOVIE THEY SHUD RLY MAK IT TO A BUK SO I CN REED IT

  • @andyrumschlag I hope that's satire.

    Otherwise it's irony.

  • Twilight is a Phase. Harry Potter is a life style

  • Also, Alex, you're several degrees past awesome, heading toward "dangerously awesome" territory. xD

  • Scrolled down to read comments while video loads. Saw mentions of Optimus Beyonce, jetpacking werewolves, and Dan's sparknotes page. I love when my small fandoms interlock. If I made a comment about Elspeth, would anyone recognise..?

  • @SageKomatsu I only recognize that name from Agatha Christie. But that's probably not what you meant.

  • @wdaband I see no problems.

  • Really creative rhyme scheme here :)

  • there is just something incredibly girly about reading the twilight series, while I was reading the books I just got so swept up in them, and loved them, then I put them down, and thought about it and realised it was bad, but then I saw the movie, and realised the girly side again, (and this is coming from an ungirly chem nerd, who still hasn't managed to put on eyliner without looking like a panda) so while they are certainly not good books, they manage to make you ignore that when you read it

  • I liked the chapters from Jacob's point of view. But...that's about it. I did enjoy the other books. I know they aren't good, but they were fun. Breaking Dawn just felt too contrived, and anyone who builds up a serious group of hard ass villains and spends most of the book training for a battle really should carry it through. Seriously the ending ruined any redeeming qualities the book might have had.

  • I like Breaking Dawn because it gave forth to Dan Bergstein's Blogging Breaking Dawn, which is great. It's hilarious, and it makes you feel like you didn't waste as much of your life reading the series, since you could get all the jokes. Look it up on Sparknotes.

  • @ImSoXxStarstruckxX SPARKNOTES BUDDY! :D

  • @starshine8139

    Jet packing werewolves? x)

  • @SuperChalek Oh my gosh. YES. And Optimus Beyonce?!

  • @starshine8139

One of my friends was saying how the name Beyonce goes with everything and I thought they were referencing Dan, and so when I shouted, 'OPTIMUS BEYONCE?!' it was awkward.

  • @SuperChalek ...oh gosh. That's awkward. None of my friends know about Sparknotes (or Dan, for that matter) So I can see how that would be hilariously awkward XD Everytime I hear a Beyonce song, all I can think is "Optimus Beyonce."

  • @starshine8139 YAY! What's your nickname?

  • What I liked about breaking dawn? The bit at the end, when I got to leave.

But I guess her wedding dress was nice too.

  • LOVED IT!

  • Im glad most of you potter fandom people hate Twilight cause it does suck!!

  • i just keep watching this because Alex looks so hot with his beard.

  • I don't like people calling Jacob a pedophile. I do realise the books aren't that good, but if you actually read them instead of going solely on the movies (which are WAY crappier) then you wouldn't think that. He doesn't fall in love with her, it's like she's his other half and he'll be anything she needs him to be: an older brother, a best friend, or when they're older a boyfriend. He doesn't view her like a pedophile would. Read the books before judging.

  • I enjoy the part where Bella dies. It made me smile. then her eyes opened back up and i became sad again.

  • I liked that it woke me up to how terrible the rest of the series was. xD

  • Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd but i actually enjoyed Breaking Dawn, the book that is not the movie. I just thought that it was pretty good!

  • I'll answer your question... NOTHING!

  • I didn't dislike Breaking Dawn. I think there was pressure to get the book out quickly because the fandom was blowing up, thus the book wasn't nutured quite the way it should have been. It needs a thoughtful edit. Or we could've had less from Jacob's POV, because he was a whiney bitch.

  • p.s. you are adorable...can we be friends?

  • The movies suck...the books are better and I have fond memories about how they bonded my best friends and I together...however Breaking Dawn was the weirdest book...so many things were wrong with it BUT I still enjoyed it....esp. the wedding scene because it IS the entire reason why there was a 4th book...So yeah...Breaking Dawn...good through the wedding and honey moon and then it gets weird and I don't like it after that....except maybe the happily ever after....but all that middle stuff....no

  • The chapters in the middle that were from Jacob's point of view (that is in breaking dawn, right? I haven't read any of them in years haha) were kind of enjoyable, but definitely not enough to be redemptive for the whole book. Some parts were fun to laugh at.That's pretty much all i have to say about it that's good.

  • I despised the Breaking Dawn book, BUT I was impressed with the movie.

  • I loved the Leah and Jacob scenes (FINALLY a platonic relationship in Twilight), and also that Kristen Stewart finally moved her face.

    I love you, Alex. <3

  • aws i love u smile ;3

  • Alex, I love the fact that you say the books are 'corrosive'. They paint such a skewed image for young women to aspire to in Bella and you are so right. There are much better, stronger and more inspiring female characters in the fantasy genre that we should be encouraging them to read.

    Loved the song!

  • @widowspider exactly! but Hermione Granger is a great role model HP for the win!

  • I saw the movie, against my better judgement. The best part for me was probably the super-important-looking Asian men in business suits sitting in front of us. They were pretty funny. But actually, I thought that Robert Pattinson actually did an okay job in this movie. The special effects sucked, and Kristen Stewart still can't act, but I also don't think that I wasted ten bucks to see it. That said, the book sucked. But the storyline is something that appeals to girls, and I respect that.

  • I like harry potter AND twilight

I just don't see the point of comparing them two?

I mean, you guys are practically comparing 'the notebook' to like 'merlin' or something.

    It's stupid.

And to be honest- they are just a creation by JK Rowling & Stephanie Meyer... It's a world that they each created and put in their own thoughts and characters and we all ended up enjoying it.

It doesn't mean that we have to get ahead and hurt each others feelings over who likes what.

    Every human is different.

  • I haven't seen the movie yet and I don't really plan too, if I do I will probably laugh all the way through with my twilight hater bestie. I've read the book and I thought the whole idea about Bella getting preggers was ridiculous. I mean, Edward is essentially dead, that should mean EVERYTHING is dead, catch my drift?

  • Um breaking dawn was a good book. I like It!! The story was altogether so romantic and amazing. The whole drama with bella edward and jacob is amazing, and the wedding, and baby is amazing. & then bella becomes a vampire!! amazing!! loved it, i would re read it if i had time.

  • Even though it wasn't believable, I liked that no one got hurt in the end. I liked that everyone ended up happily ever after. I like that Renesme ages really quickly and she gets to be with Jacob. I liked getting to see through Jake's eyes and see what it was kind of like to be part of the pack. I liked that Jake split from Sam's pack. I love Seth!!!! there is more but I can't remember right now.

  • my fav. part of the movies/books is the part where I didn't see or read any of them.

  • Why is there even a war between harry potter and twilight? They're completely different from each other. I understand that England is proud of their series, but who decided that the states established Twilight as their #1 series? Who, dammit WHO?!

  • I liked breaking dawn when I read it but, I kinda can't remember why. It might have been because it is the "best" book in the series. Not that the series is any good. What I do like is this song! You have a great sense of humor and I love watching your videos! :)

  • I liked the part where Bella was in excruciating pain c:

  • I liked Breaking Dawn... It's my favorite book in that series. Even though it was anticlimactic, poorly written, mildly creepy, and I really wanted to see someone die, it is my guilty pleasure book. *shrugs* I liked the finality of it, and how Bella finally got to share her thoughts with Edward... I also enjoyed the deeper insight into the wolves lives and that Jacob finally found some sort of happiness.

  • They only thing I liked about Breaking Dawn is that without it you would never have given us this song :)

  • i liked breaking because it was the LAST BOOK.

    that the series was DONE,.

  • I haven't seen Breaking Dawn yet. So its excellent, right? :)

  • WEASLEY IS OUR KING! <3

  • NO SHIT! Thakyou so much!

  • @ValleyGurlFrmHell

I completely agree with you! I read all the books before it became a "thing". But the same can be said about some Harry Potter fans (Don't get me wrong! I am a gryffindor all the way) but It just generally annoys me when people dont read the books and only watch the movies....

  • @keazly13 basically everything you said.

  • I liked the part where bella was dead for three days.... and unfortunately she came back to life....

  • you're a guy. of course you don't like it. haha

  • @jmpandzic I don't like it, but I did enjoy reading Twilight (Even though I don't think it is wonderfully written) and I am male. So I don't think this is a gender issue. ;D

  • Im not exactly sure why but when you read them there is something that mysteriously consumes you and you literally can't put it down until you're done. but the whole time i read the series and especially after i still knew that the books wern't really THAT good but you still can't help but to become temporarily (or in unfortunate cases, permanently) obsessed. I loved twilight and still do but I was never a CRAZY twilight person. also harry potter is incomparable because it is sooo much better

  • @keazly13

Thank you for putting into words my EXACT thoughts. Twilight is not good literature. I should know (hopefully :)) I'm a German and English literature student. So it's not like I only read teen literature. Still, I became obsessed with it for some time. I still think it is NOT a classic, it will NOT be read by generations to come (unlike HP) etc. I always wonder what exactly it is tat makes it so addictive but as of now, I have not been able to find out.

  • Breaking Dawn was the most poorly written book of the series, in my opinion. The first time I read the first three books I was 13, and at that age you get swept up in the story and miss the fact that there is no character development and barely any plot line whatsoever, which is why the fan group remains pre teen. And I have a huge problem with Bella, she is weak, selfish, whiny and dull not to mention she nearly kills herself over a guy she dated for about 5 months max? And, Renesmee? Really?

  • I read it, and it's terrible. And I don't just mindlessly hate it, and the series, as a Harry Potter lover, they're honestly terrible books. The entire plot to Breaking Dawn was sex, having a baby, and having Jacob imprint on that baby. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Nobody dies that is actually cared for in the not-war. I would MAYBE have some respect for the book if there was a war, and a beloved character was killed off, like Fred in Harry Potter. I don't want death, just perhaps a slice of realism.

  • I loved the entire series. Alex, have you read the books? They're incredible. I just got home from the movie, I'll admit it wasn't that fantastic. The ending was dissapointing, and did you see the last scene after the first roll of credits? It made it a little bit more bearable. The movies aren't as good as the books. I dare you to read the Twilight series and still be hating after.. Not that I have anything against Harry Potter. (:

  • @missbelieber123 it´s pretty obvious that he has indeed read the books, he does talk about the anticlimatic ending, and the last movie isn´t out yet, so how else would he know?..;)

  • @SemilieJ95 No, I would assume he's talking about the anticlimatic ending of the most recent movie. Because the ending of the book was great.

  • @missbelieber123 He's talking about the book ending, I do believe. "Anticlimactic" as in "nothing effing happened". She set up for this huge awesome battle....and nothing happened. How stupid.

  • @missbelieber123 you can not possibly say that the you didn´t think the ending of Breaking Dawn was anticlimactic! Meyer gives you expectations of this "big" fight, and then they just stand there, staring at each other.. She is way too afraid to kill some of the main main characters, it feels like I´m in a Disney movie and all the "good guys" survive.. It just isn´t realistic.

  • @SemilieJ95 But vampires and werewolves are right? Hahahahahah

  • @missbelieber123 *facepalm*

  • @missbelieber123 of course vampires and werewolves are fictional, that´s not the point! The point is that the story would have been more "believable" in a way, if Meyer hadn´t been so afraid of killing off some of the main characters..

Look at Harry Potter for example, you hate Rowling for killing off Fred, Sirius, Lupin and many, many more, but in a way you know that the story wouldn´t have been that great if all the good guys had a happy ending.. She shows you that: heck, life isn´t fair!

  • I liked it....

  • I read the whole saga 3/4 years ago, I have since recovered and come back to Harry Potter, but if I'm honest Breaking Dawn was the best book in the saga. But I don't know why I liked it, as I now realise that Edward is a glittery fairy, Bella is a whiny, self-centred bitch and Jacob gets so freaking jealous of Edward that he imprints on Edward and Bella's daughter.

  • I wrote an essay about why the Twilight Saga sucked. I got 100% :P

  • @CurtoMerrs you are a genious.

  • Breaking Dawn was one of the worst books I've ever read. I had to laugh out load several times during the read. The plot is so weird, it's VERY anti-climatic, Jacob imprint on a baby just because Stephanie Meyer didn't want the love triangle to keep going when they got married.. And everything she does to protect renesmee is in vain, because the volturi just "realise" on the battle field that they should leave them alone. Are you kidding me?

HOWEVER. I really liked the movie :)

  • this was good Alex :) i loved it :)♥

  • itunes?

  • I can picture what would happen if Breaking Dawn and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part2 came out on the same day. On one side there would be Potter fans on the other there would be Twilight fans. and then in the middle of it all there would be the ones who like both like: "Peace don't fight. They are both amazing" and I would be standing on a bench with a video camera recording it all thinking: "YOUTUBE!!! FACEBOOK!!!! INTERWEB!!!! :D

  • wish there was a "OMIGOSH LOVE" button.

  • I enjoy the fact that Harry potter fans make fun of Twilight mercilessly but I barely ever see Twilight fans make fun of Harry Potter. It's not because they're the bigger person in this. No no no. It's because they know we'll go ape shit on them if they say anything bad about Harry Potter. And because we have better defense as to why Harry Potter is the better series. :3

  • @ForeverLameAndAlone Also the other sad thing is the majority of Twilight lovers are only because of the movies and most of them haven't even picked up the books. i can respect someone who loves Twilight for the books and even ones who loved Twilight even before the movies. But it's comical when they are only fans for Robert Patterson and Taylor Lautner lol.

  • EVERYTHING! As a matter of fact... especially the music.

P.S, this is this user's 13 yr. old daughter...

    Amen to Twilight!

  • Twilight is junk food, and just as I like hamburgers once in a while even though I know there's nothing good in them, I liked Breaking Dawn.

But really, it doesn't matter if you like them or not, it still doesn't give anyone the right to thrash something other people like. Stop hating.

  • It was better than the first two books?

It was actually kinda a fantasy novel as opposed to teen drama lit?

Bella was at least slightly easier to read about as a vampire?

Mostly it was a light, entertaining, book. I read it so I could see what people were talking about... Bella is annoying, Edward is a creeper, Jacob is angst personified and the "climax" was a total let down.

... Oh, the movie did do about as good as job as I've ever seen handling telepathy and other ;in your head' moments.

  • Weasely is my king!

The ending of Breaking Dawn disappointed me. My friends make the whole thing bearable because they make going to movies and discussing the books fun but if it weren't for them I really wouldn't like Twilight at all.

  • I liked Breaking Dawn simply because I had fun reading it. It isn't a good book. At all. I don't like Bella as a character. I don't want Edward to be my boyfriend. Renesmee is the stupidest name ever. And Jacob is a creepy pedophile. But I had fun reading it, and to me that's what reading is all about. Being immersed into a world that isn't your own and enjoying it.

  • You're wonderful. <3

  • I really don't get what was so bad about the Twilight series. I mean sure, some parts of the story was weak, some parts were dumb or very cliché. But that happens all the time in stuff that the media praises all the time. Honestly, I think if the fact that the vampires did not sparkle in the sunlight, the discrimination against the series would decrease a whole lot and there wouldn't be such a problem with it. The only book I didn't really like so much in the series was New Moon. It was all pre

  • alex, i love you

  • <3

  • I liked the fact that it meant that the twilight series could finally stop ruining the teenage generation with shitty literature.

  • I'm sorry, I still haven't read it. I read Twilight last year because my friend said that would give me a reason to dislike it so much. I just couldn't get through the book, it took me weeks to finish it. I would like to read the whole series but I'm afraid I get too annoyed. And they say that the first book is the best of the series and that doesn't really comfort me.

  • ....I know why people like twilight: its very original...who else would think of vegetarian vampires and think its a good idea?....

  • @GoodbyeMrPotter It's not original, trust me. Most vampires go through a ''vegetarian phase'', like described in ''The Vampire Chronicals'' books (by Anne Rice) and ''The Saga of Darren Shan'' series (by Darren Shan).

  • @Plottoberry Note to self: don't read any vampire books

  • @GoodbyeMrPotter no! anne rice is GREAT. read those.

  • @hayveee Exactly!

  • Since you asked:

    1) Even though she had to die to get it, Bella finally had a bit of a spine. I found that I liked vampire Bella better than at any point since she meets Edward.

    2) Everything Emmett said was hilarious.

    3) It was completely ridiculous, maybe that was just my interpretation. And I appreciate that in my fluff reading. I enjoyed the hell out of Breaking Dawn because it was just completely ridiculous. It's actually my favorite of the series for that exact reason.

  • I thought the whole quadrilogy was okay and was worth the read but Breaking Dawn was pretty ridiculous. I'm not at all interested in seeing the films.

  • You look very no shave november-y.

When you do shave, will you give me the beard?

  • Twilight books are page turners but they barely have a plot and the characters are annoying.

  • I read Breaking Dawn - it sucked.

  • ...I can't remember what I actually like about Breaking Dawn...I think by then I was over Twilight but I still read it because I could, and it took my friends unhealthy obsession with it to dislike it completely.

  • Okay, this was awesome. Will you marry me?? :D

  • Breaking Dawn is just pure entertainment. Like all the Twilight films/books. Why do we have to hate on something just because we don't like it? I liked Breaking Dawn and the Twilight series because they are fun. There were things I didn't like about it also. But I don't like everything about Harry Potter either.

  • Great song!

  • I like Breaking Dawn and this song... does that make me a bad person?

  • I saw twilight breacking dawn last night after reading it like 4 millon time ( not really just a experson ) and i loved it i mean comeing it so good but Harry Potter its way better then Twilight @AlexanderCarpenter the reason why i loved it is because it was dramatic and i like drama i knew she was going 2 live cause the book wont have been so big i mean really its like 800 pages. so please respond back i am a HUGE fan of ur and it would be soo cool 2 hear from u so ya please please please :)

  • The main reason I liked Breaking Dawn was because it went more into Twilight vampire mythology...with the hybrids and delving more into the special powers and all. I like that kind of stuff much more than the "love story". And because FINALLY there wasn't that stupid love triangle of Edward, Bella and Jacob(though the imprinting on a baby was creepy). And because it had the Volturi. Really, I just want a book entirely about the Volturi. That would be AWESOME.

  • This song made me smile. :D

  • I liked it, I guess because it tied up all the loose ends.

  • @dawnnerdgirl It also created a problem, though. How could Edward get an erection? Meyer said he didn't have a blood flow. This makes Renesmee a major plot hole. How's that for a loose end?

  • @Fanyuer I sincerely hope that wasn't stab at me. And you might want to check out her FAQ page on the website, it actually explains that.

  • @dawnnerdgirl The whole thing she made up after the release and didn't include in the books? The fact that Edwards venom replaces blood? Also, what website? I can't seem to find it...

  • @Fanyuer Yes that thing, she goes more in depth into her version of vampire "science" its at (there will be spaces b/c you can't put in a website, so don't use the spaces) stephenie meyer . com. Click on books> Breaking Dawn> FAQ. Now, please remember this is all fantasy and every other takes liberties with different elements, so if you don't like her version of vampires that's fine, but it doesn't mean they aren't vampires. For reference see Anne Rice, Port Charles, or Morrigan's Cross.

  • @dawnnerdgirl Somehow, the vampires Meyer created seem difficult to believe. I'm very picky about fantasy, especially vampires. When an author writes that her vampires don't have a blood flow, then l'm going to assume they don't have the ability to get an erection. When she writes that they sparkle in sunlight, I'm going to assume they are fairies. She gets criticism for it and makes up facts that were never published, but had she included the facts in the books, I wouldn't have had a problem.

  • @Fanyuer But you can't get mad at her for leaving out information or parts of the story, every author does that's one of the main reasons they have websites and FAQ sections, good old JK is actually really bad at that. She leaves out a lot of information that is kind of important to characterization and just has it on her website.

  • I never understood why such an interesting, awesome vampire (according to Twilight fans anyways) like Edward would be interested in such a boring, self centered person like Bella

  • I liked parts of Breaking Dawn. One of the vampires had my name, that was awesome.

  • I like harry potter and twilight. You obviously can't even compare them so you just shouldn't. Out of all the books in the series breaking dawn is the best because her writing developed more. Its kinda like reality TV but only in the sense that its mind numbing.

  • You've always been hot but the beard is just . guuuh

  • Beard's looking good!

  • I haven't seen the movie yet. But the book had a couple somewhat redeeming parts. Like, pre-imprint, Jacob had some BA moments. And the other vampires had some pretty awesome powers, those were fun.

  • My favourite part of Breaking Dawn was this song

  • I liked the first one and then I kind of just wanted to know what happens next. But breaking dawn was a pain to read even when I was still a fan (which I am not anymore, now I can´t stand it, don´t know what happened). The story of the first book was cute, then it just got ridiculous. Oh yeah and Meyer can´t write...
