  • Stretching is bad for you. It temporarily decrease the force that the muscle can generate. Normally when you stretch your hamstrings, you're not stretching the hamstring itself but the sciatic nerve.

  • @MrNickOnUTube True dat, but you are supposed to stretch after training to improve flexibility and regeneration, not before. It actually weakens you if you stretch before muscle training.

  • I'd believe Pat Robertson leg pressed 2,000lbs. Its actually easier to do than you'd think if you work up to it over a number of months.

    When you jump off of a porch 3 feet above ground and then land on the ground below that is well over 1,000lbs of force that you legs and knees are absorbing.
