Fantastic. It's performances like these that show how incredible she is as a vocalist. This proves that her voice is so beautiful that the difference between her live performance and her studio recording is so small. Very well done!

and some of those people who just think they understand about rock keep underrating Amy. She's an amazing composer and singer, and that's not a matter of opinion. Anyone who listen to Evanescence without any kind of prejudice due to their mtv-exposure would certainly see that.

Agreed 100%! Amy's not just some "emo, shallow, whiny wanna-be rock chick" like I heard from some ignorant guy today. She has the most beautiful, powerful voice in the world and her writing skills are INCREDIBLE. Also: Amy's the only one who can combine a grand piano with KoRn's Thoughtless and have it still sound awesome!

Yeah people tend to underrate poppular stuff. I bet, i could put my hand into a fire that if Evanescence were not known by media, if it was still underground, almost all of these people saying crap would just be worshiping Amy and all the other guys ;)

Definitely. It's a little ironic how MTV is suppose to make bands popular when they seem to do more harm than good...

In any case, whether mainstream or not, I still worship Evanescence=D. Popularity hasn't tarnished Amy's voice or writing talent, so I don't understand what people are bitching about...

Lots of people hate mtv because they turn good bands into something 'in vogue', too poppular and attracts bad fans.. It's not mtv's fault if the 'good musicians' get deluded by money and fame and start making shit music to be sure to keep on mtv's screen. We also cant blame mtv for those little people. In my useless opinion, REAL great artist uses this 'power' mtv gives them to get even better ;)

You're right. It's just so sad how as soon as a band appears on MTV, before they have the chance to screw up their music, people start hating them for it. What do you mean, the "power"? I always thought it was publicity more than anything.... I think that Amy/Terry (the ones who write the songs) do a good job with balancing mainstreamness with the weird side of Evanescence that I love (Lose Control is definitely NOT mainstream, but it's still awesome! Good Enough is also great).
