The explosion was unexpected, haha. Try using a cutoff prevention by adding a picture or something at the end. Youtube cuts off little bits of video at the end.

yea I'm not sure why that got cut out..... It was on there since I put it up, but somehow the explosion at the end got cut from the vid.... Maybe YouTube didn't approve of a Ford car being blown up? lol who knows

if you have the entire car set up with Reactor's Toy Car collection properly, you just have to set a velocity and gain to get it moving, but more importantly, put a check next to "spin wheels". It also might not seem to be rolling forward if the tires are slipping due to low friction, so turn up the friction of the wheels and possibly the floor too. It'll get going then. Hope this helps!

I wish all the 3D programs and all those silly little plugins and updates would just be merged and sold in one big package.

I'm tired of having to search for everything and puzzle it all together.

It doesnt leave me any free time to work with.

there is nothing in this animation that you can't do within the software package itself. This is no extra plugins being used....  Just Mental Ray, Reactor, and a meshbomb

yes this is a physics simulation using Havok's reactor in 3D Studio Max, but it's not AS easy as Spider853 made it sound. To get this to work properly, you have to know what options to tweak and why. The reactor "world" needs setup, as well as knowing how to use the full car object in the simulation, not just a box with 4 wheels.

Not so, it is simulated physics... if you played any of those games: Crayon Physics, Garry's Mod, Phun , its like them. You just create some constraints and some force and simulation is ready... If you are happy then you can create keys for animation
