  • the usb goes in where the battery is

  • This guy has no idea what he's talking about

  • good vid:)

  • man wireless=cancer

  • You can in fact remove the ball, and just remove the battery cover, and you do also have a place to store the usb reciever

  • I just bought this mouse, and did an unboxing review too. I am guessing I will be learning a lot from you when I get my iMac.... Graduating from my PC this month.

  • noo. its mac compatible :P

  • @WholeAppleTV and the ball can be removed. it is a bit tough to get tout, there is a hole in the bottom where you can put your pinky through to push out the ball to clean it.

  • @WholeAppleTV you're wrong about the fact concerning the place where you put the USB device. open the cover where the battery is and there will be a slot where you can put the device

  • We do a bit of both, in this case it obviously made some people furious that we missed the ball removal and the slot for the Unifying Receiver, which at the time was a brand new type of USB dongle.

We'll continue to aways strive for better, and hope the bulk of our viewers like what we do. To desire to please everyone all the time is a fool's errand, and I am most certainly not a fool.

May you all have a blessed day!

  • We try to do followups, ask relevant questions of the manufacturers and more, but we either review them as we get them as so many others do, or we use them for a while, wait, and do a less timely but possibly more informative review.

  • As the reviewer I would just like to say for the record that I have had to come to certain understandings, and I need to spell them out more clearly. What we do often is an unboxing and "first look" meaning you are seeing it for the first time as we are. Most of us only refer to directions after we hit a question or issue, and that is what we wanted to convey here. Not that we're some infallible experts who know everything via some form of osmosis before we ever lay hands on it.

  • Yes, it does have a slot, look under the battery cover.

  • stick a pen in the hole to review the ball.....

  • btw its a triple a battery and u push thru that hole to pop the track ball out

  • A little fact about removing the ball , take a stick or a pencil and slightly nudge with this in the bottom hole , the ball will pop out and you can clean out the hole.

I use its predecessor and that's how I clean its bearing points.

  • Your an idiot... If you are going to do a product review atleast do basic research so you aren't giving out false info.

  • Your an idiot... If you are going to a product review atleast do basic research so you aren't giving out false info.

  • @marc0nline What false info are you referring to? If I am an idiot for giving false information what are you for telling me I am giving false info and not telling me what that would be?

  • @WholeAppleTV 3:30 you say trackball is not removable but it is.

  • @WholeAppleTV I would guess, that it's the fact that you CAN actually, REMOVE THE BALL, and it DOES NEED CLEANING once in a while. I have one too, and contacts for the ball do accumulate dust around them, and the ball movement starts to get a little rough.

That's what make you and idiot.

  • @2528997 Wow an idiot for reviewing a product among the many others we do here for NO MONEY to help people better spend theirs, and I miss something minor to the overall unit's function, and that's all you have to say is I am an idiot. You made my day, because I was so ready to believe all people are inherently nice. NOT.

  • @WholeAppleTV I think the things that makes you an idiot is the fact that you make these pointless review videos for no money, when there are many others who make the exact same video. Way to have a life buddy. Also, nice hair by the way. You totally don't look like a pathetic old guy who can't stand how old they are.

  • @WholeAppleTV what a rude person i thought it was one of the better reviews of this mouse out there

  • I think it was a good review. Thanks.

  • great unboxing review, just wasted 7 minutes to watch how to unbox a Logitech trackball. Cant wait to see reviews of unboxing other equipment, thumbs up!

  • @italtapl I'm assuming that was some heavy duty sarcasm. Next time you're sitting in front of your computer I promise I won't hold the gun to your head and make you watch. Oh.... right, that never happened.

If you don't like it by all means say why. The video is part of the review which is in full with the video embedded at our site. It's about the whole experience.

I guess the link was too hard to follow.

Sorry to have offended you. Well not really.

  • @WholeAppleTV You could really spend more time preparing for reviews, instead of replying to post, for which no one really cares.

  • @WholeAppleTV Fight ! Fight ! Fight !

  • @WholeAppleTV You mislabeled the video, you should have called it an unboxing, not a review. You don't really give a lot of information that a would be buyer is interested in hearing. All you did was take it out of the box and give your first impressions. I'm sorry, but that does not constitute as a review. And since you posted it on the internet, people will flame you for it.

  • @italtapl Thanks!, I agree this was a waste of time, because of your note I was able to quickly speed through this drivel waiting for him to finally try out the mouse, which he never does.

  • @italtapl exactly !!

  • 7 minutes wasted.

  • Fail at 3:30 - The ball IS removable same as trackman wheel, but requires a bit more force to pop out.

  • Ummm... ok. Did someone pee in your Wheaties? I called it a trackball mouse and the proper way to say it would have been pointing device. I think I will go hang myself now. Or just keep going knowing that I am human and not a press release spouting automaton. Yea the second one. :)

  • its not a F**KING MOUSE!!! mice and trackballs are both pointing devices..

  • This has got to be one of the worst product reviews I've ever seen :/ The so called reviewer never even knew if the product came or not with or without software, & he assumed that there wasn't a slot to put the Unifying receiver in.

  • @Infiltrator2K I knew what it came with when I opened the box. That's why they are called UNboxings. ;)

  • i was the reviewer and the graphics guy. we both got fired then rehired cause they are hard up for people. ;)

  • Did you really fire the reviewer? Shame on you!

  • @Paraboschierro was the graphics guy from what I understand D:

  • Very useful info. Thanks!

  • One more word on the USB receiver: It’s called a Unifying receiver, which means a single one in your computer is able to handle multiple wireless Logitech devices with Unity support. :P

  • wowit has a little holder thing that's dope. O.o

  • Nice! Played with it already? I'm considering getting one of these, but I'm not sure it's suited for what I'm playing - Counter-Strike Source. Can you make a gaming test with a FPS? Thanks.

  • There is the place in the battery area pls relook!!!

  • Thanks for the great responses everyone. Even with something so seemingly simple there's always room to learn. Learning is a very good thing, and I appreciate the knowledge! Thanks again!

  • If you look at the underside of the mouse, you can pop the ball out via a hole using your pinky finger or with a backside of a pen. To make the trackball roll smoother, take the ball out and rub it with your hands and fingers. The natural oils in your skin is the secret on making the trackballs roll better. Also make sure you clean the contact points from time to time. I love my M570.

  • there is a slot for the nano receiver is in the battery compartments to the right of the battery.

  • @airfan10 Ah very good eye buddy, completely missed that! I was looking for the slot to be outside like some of their USB mice are. Thank you very much for the correction!

    Chris

  • @WholeAppleTV yea. i was actually thinking of getting this mouse to replace my old original trackman trackball. Also get a logitech wireless k340 for less cables.
