There is global cooling because of sun inactivity. Read icecap *us. Aug 2008 finished without almost no sunspots, just a "half" sunspot. Last time that a calendar month had no sunspots was 1913. Read junkscience *c*om and search for the effect of cosmic rays on temperature by Svendmark.
Man Made Global Warming is a hoax. You want to get REALLY REALLY big amounts of money? TAX OIL! U.N. is after a tax of $0.35 on every gallon of OIL sold in the world. That is HUGE money. $trillions
Arctic sea ice increased MASSIVELY over Aug 2007, 700.000 square increase in Arctic Sea Ice. All global tempertature measures that I know are showing FALLS in temperature. CO2 increases but temperature falls. That shows CO2 never caused global warming. An extremely active sun at the end of millenium caused global warming but now the sun is very inactive. Almost no sunspots, low magnetic fields. That low sun activity allows more cosmic rays to get into the lower atmosphere and create dull
Low sun activity allows more cosmic rays into the lower atmosphere and those cosmic rays create more clouds. More clouds means less sunlight reaches the earth and more sunlight is reflected back into space. Also a less active sun has smaller irradiance. That explains most -but not all- the cooling. Watch for Arctic and Antarctic Sea Ice, those are the key factors. You are a smart dude. Read iceacap *us, a very reliable blog, and from there you will have tons of links and you will see the facts
Just one correction: CO2 is increasing and Global Temps are falling because of sun inactivity. That proves CO2 is not the MAIN cause of past Global Warming but that does not deny that CO2 causes SOME warming. CO2 causes some MINUSCULE warming because it is a MINOR greenhouse gas(GHG). The sun is the key factor in global temp, you see global temp increasing and decreasing along with sun activity. CO2 does not do that: Now and in the 70s CO2 was increasing with falling temps.CO2 is just minor GHG
The las time snow stuck was back on new years day when the new millennium. It snows every few years without sticking but usually never around this time. At the latest it will snow without sticking near Mardi Gras. It doesn't hail too much either.
Well it changes day to day. It's messed up. We had to start pruning our orchard a couple months late, and then it snowed like 3 or 4 days in. Yesterday it was almost like summer, but today it rained.
We had about four inches of snow at the end of April. Right now, it's around 25 degrees Celcius (I dunno how much that is in F). Weather's going completely wild, man :P.
Probably. I just hear people complaining that it's always raining in the UK. They might just be making fun of the stereotype kind of like when Canadians talk about their igloos.
Oh no it does rain here.....A LOT!!! You should have visited England last summer. Huge floods everywhere! the road my house is next to got to about 3 feet deep!
in england we don't get snow at Christmas anymore..... its too cold we just get ice

You don't normally get snow and hail that far south, do you?

It's the same here. The climate is totally messed up.

That's 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
unclesaboin 3 years ago
That's alot. That's about as hot as it gets in the summer around here...
TheNewFiyinite7 3 years ago
Wow! It gets hotter than that in Canada in the summer yet we always hear Americans say crap like "Oh, Canada, it's too cold up there." :-P
unclesaboin 3 years ago
That's people in Florida and places like that.
TheNewFiyinite7 3 years ago
Yeah, that's mostly true but you'd be surprised who says things like that sometimes. Some are not that far south.

Hasn't England had something like 3 "White Christmases" in the past century?
