It's a commentary on the xenophobia problems in South Africa, but this is a universal problem. Aliens = Nigerians (in South Africa) = Illegal South Americans here.

Last summer (2008), there were major riots and a fair bit of killing of illegal aliens in South Africa that we didn't hear much about in the U.S., but I was in southern africa and it was a shitstorm there.

Probably just being made aware. Trouble is though that it won't occur to most people, because they just don't know anything about what is being represented.
