  • a single megaman game incuding ALL enemies would be awesome!

i would even buy it as a fullprice game...

  • the graphics are so shit it flipping awesome

  • What ?

  • I think they're saying they're a fan of old school graphics.

  • ohh xD

  • dude u don't suck @ it

  • It is Concrete Shot, not Cement Shot.

Oh, and in the Magma Man Stage, you can use C.Shot in the magma beams then use L.Trident to destroy then more faster.Waiting for they dessapear takes you a long time

  • Thank you for completely ignoring the fact that this run has been beaten, by myself and ignoring the nice message in the comments saying GO WATCH IT.

  • lets not call iut "JS" when I don't know what it means...

  • "... Plug Ball the crap out of him."

    Sounds dirty. :P

  • i also see that your a perfectionist gamer if thats the case then keep up the VERY good work

  • at least you can do it, i just got megaman 9 and haven't been able to beat a single boss

  • take your time dude the bosses r hard, and i'd reccomend u start with concrete man, and make sure u load up on 1 ups, and a mega tank and some other stuff.

  • Plug Man looks like a recoloured Elekid from Pokemon Silver...

  • Yes and electabuzz and electivire

  • very good only one mistake xD

  • did you use the controler or wii remote because damn you shoot fast

  • I used the Classic Controller. No, I don't shoot that fast. With that I'm only about 10 shots/second (see my Star Soldier R Quick Shot Mode video).

  • Wow crystal mans power is basically the same as woodmans. Although megaman games are still my favorite.

  • Except with Wood Man's shield, as soon as you moved, the shield was fired (except for jumping).

  • Fantastic stuff....Started watching as I just finished MM9 myself. Some good tips in here!

  • Great stuff. Well played.

  • galaxy mans stage music reminds me of ducktales 1 for the nes

  • Even if this may not be the most optimal run, you still deserve my full respect for "TAKE THAT, WHINERS! ACED THAT ROOM!"

  • There was dead silence when you died...

  • impressive :)

  • In the Wily 1 room where you says "I still hate this room" you can use Rush Coil immediately when you emerge from the ladder just in time to hit the middle ladder, then when you go up to the next screen you can head over to the right ladder before the beam has a chance to hit you.

Dunno if anyone's posted this yet.

  • "Rush Jet FTW!" LOL!

  • lol 20:00... man i thought this would be a good mesh of all the games... so far it's sub-par? heh never thought i'd use that to describe anything... either way it's mega man...ALL HAIL THE BLUE BOMBER!!!

  • Can you still save during a speed run or does it waste to much time?

  • Depending on how fast you want to speed run, if you want to go this fast, dont bother saving / taking ANY breaks.

  • jewel man was probably your worst

  • I lol'd that you moved your head to the beat when on the bubbles

  • Oh and Jewel Satellite could've saved you some valuable time on Plug Man's stage (pretty much most of it) and on Wily Stage1 (first segment) to name some spots.

  • I usually beat Concrete Man before Splash Woman just so I can use C. Shot on her, it that bad?

Oh, and sweet job on the speed run. I didn't know you could pull some of the shit you did, like on Galaxy Man's stage.

  • Well, she's weak to Hornet Chaser and not Concrete shot.

  • At the beginning of Magma Man's stage where you used Rush Jet to get to the ladder on that last jump, wouldn't it be faster to just jump to it?

Excellent run though, you have some great ideas here!

  • Also, on the Wily stage in the room with the horizontal beams and you say "I still hate this room.", you can hop on top of the ledge to your left as soon as you climb into the room, then use rush jet to fly to the ladder. It's a lot faster, and until I watched this video, I thought it was the only way to do it!

  • Steppo2000 is right. Th room in Jewel Man's Stage can be "aced" in two swings. Does anybody know if there is any chance to do that by only swinging once? (Without shop items)

  • it doesn't matter what masters you take on after you beat 5 of them (any of them) you will get the rush jet.

  • You could have done better on the item buying screen. ;) Other than that, a pretty good run.

  • Could, but since that has no affect on in-game time, it doesn't matter.

  • you could hace aced that room in jewel man's stage better, you swinged to many times

  • Two things on Hornet Man's level. The first part with the scissors you had to stop to let them go - use Jewel Satellite to run right through them. On the part with the unrolling platforms over the spikes (where you died) jump on the first one then use R. Coil. As you're jumping from the coil immediately pause and choose R. Jet. Fire it as you're rising and you should wind up at the very top of the screen. From there just ride over the whole section. Nothing will hit you at the very top.

  • Rush Jet in the 2nd half was something I was planning on. I keep forgetting about Jewel Satellite though. I need to use that thing more often. ^^;;

  • When you drop down to the dark area of Plug Man's Stage, for the disappearing blocks, you don't have to do the one where you jump straight up and time it so a block spawns underneath, you can instead jump to the next one ahead. For Jewel Man fight, instead of Pause Tricking the B. Hole Bomb for the last shot, you could have jumped to make Jewel Man jump as well, although I do realize that the boss fights are a bit random.

  • 4 T blows will kill the flower miniboss

  • If I figure out the positioning better, Concrete Shot or and up close Magma Bazooka (or 2) would be faster then 4 Tornado Blows.

  • I've never played MM9, but during Jewel Mans stage couldn't you have just jumped over the things that you kept going into your menu and using C. Shot on? And on the stage after Jewel Mans, couldn't you have used C. Shot on the spikes and used them to jump across, then used Coil to jump up to the ending platforms instead of waiting for the blocks to appear?

  • For Jewel Man's level, I need to switch back to M. Buster anyways to conserve energy. Plus it gets the blocks out of the way. As for Plug man's level, I've got a better way to deal with that now over what's here.

  • when u have everything what is the space under rush jet is there a secret weapon u can get, also what does the girl do in the shop that u can buy for 200 screws. Thanks for showing me some pointers i never new about. here is my way of fighting the 8 bosses 1.Galaxy Man 2.Jewel Man 3.Plug Man 4.Tornado Man 5.Magma Man 6.Hornet Man 7.Splash Woman 8.Concrete Man The same as ur one but starting different
  • I don't believe there is anything, even if you buy everything in the shop.

As for your boss order, the reason I don't do Galaxy Man first is that having Rush Jet in Tornado Man's level is a major time saver (and a major headache saver too). Also, Splash Woman takes 2 damage to buster, while everybody else takes only 1.

  • Thanks alot will give that a whirl 2day then.

What does the girl do in the shop when u buy it think its 200 screws ?

  • It's a costume change for Roll, giving her the Mega Man 8 outfit...so I've been told.

  • also on the room where the lava beams run acroos the room.

instead of using concrete block to frezze them. use rush coil, you can get to the 2nd stairs if you call him from the stairs when you enter the room... i have a lot of comments on this but im pretty lazy right now!

  • use the bees on those fire dragons!

  • Black Hole Bomb > Hornet Chaser. Not to mention I can't use it on the first one anyways.

  • I have a question on the elephant section of Concrete Man's stage.

Is Laser Trident any stronger on these guys than the buster? Because you seem to have no shortage of the weapon in that stage ever.

And a suggestion. Skip the Shock Guard and practice the one jump you bought said powerup for until you can nail it first try with 95% accuracy. I expect quite a bit of competition with this game and minor things like that, besides adding to the 'WOW!' factor, can give you an extra edge.

  • Nope. It's considerably slower to use Laser Trident on the elephants then to use buster.

As for the Shock Guard, I'd feel 1000% more comfortable having it then not. Especially being that far into a run to end up failing, would give me a horrible feeling in my stomach. I'd rather buy it and not need it, rather then not buy it and fail miserably. that's all.

  • would starting with Concrete Man then playing Splash Woman last help? You would get the rush jet for her stage then. Just thought of this since you're using Concrete Man's weapon the most.

  • There's no logic to your idea. First off, Rush Jet isn't acquired until after your 5th boss. Also, Concrete Man's weapon is of no use really to Splash Woman. Laser Trident, on the other hand, is considerably helpful in Concrete Man's level.

  • I know you don't get Rush Jet til after the 5th level. So I was wondering why don't you start out with another boss, and then save Splash Woman for sixth so you can Rush Jet through her level?

  • No, because I would have to do either:

    A) Tornado w/o Rush Jet (Slow)

    B) Magma Man w/o Tornado (Slow)

    C) Hornet Man w/o Magma (Slow)

I was referred to another method to do Splash faster, w/o Jet or Tornado Hold. It's some tricky jumping, but a viable method.

  • i use satellite at 24:00...you can run right through that area with it on

  • I have a better method that I'm gonna try - Rush Jet.

  • man i wish they released this game on an actual nes cartridge

  • in the jewel man level you can use the B bomb at the beginning to suck up the green spinning wheel and other anoying ennemies...:P

  • Buster kills them in 1 shot, but it's a matter of aiming right, which I do most of the time. Plus I need to save enough for the boss, because it's considerably faster to use that then the buster.

  • You can shave some minute's off here and there but overall this is an amazing display... especially playing that solidly for this amount of time.

well done mate; very impressive.. :D can't wait to see your quicker attempts.

  • thats an awesome speed run, man! You taught me a thing or two about the use of Concrete Shot and Black Hole Bomb, lol. I've only watched up to Magman Man's stage, but I just wanted to let you know, that the time you used Rush Jet at 19:35, you can just make that jump yourself, although maybe the jet IS quicker, lol.

  • It's also considerably safer, which is the primary reason I use it, actually. ^^;;

  • heres a tip dont die lololololol....but seriously 1st try on that brings back loada memories...of pain and annoyance...nice run ^^ doin helleva lot better than me

  • 5 stars man, but your gaming skills are wasted on the wii :'(

  • It's not like I've never done speed runs on other systems. I've done plenty on the SNES, GBA, and PS1. The Wii just offers so many possibilities.

  • okay then. I just uploaded my own speedrun for the demo, but it's not really a speedrun when compared to yours. I will post it as a comment though, so you can see it. I believe i do 1 room better. My game runs at 50hz though :'( !!

  • 27:57 use the plugs works great for me.

  • I could try that. I'll have to look at how much energy I need before Wily 3 to see if that works.

  • for magma man stage, you can cement shot the lava beams and they freeze then blast them away with trident. saves a LOT of time.

  • Yeah, I was told that elsewhere. I knew there had to be some way to deal with them, but wasn't sure how.

  • Great run, I'll get some pointer from you, especially for the concrete shot!

But, why no love for the laser trident?! It's a great weapon, give it a try you'll see.

  • If there's a good spot for it, I'll use it. But I need to know specifically where. But for most purposes, Black Hole Bomb, Cement Shot, and Tornado Blow are the best weapons.

  • I find the Laser Trident works great for the shielded enemies at 27:20 ..

  • nicely done. I start on glxyman but seeing how much time can be saved with rjet on tmans lvl, I will hafta redo my boss order. Also, to help ur time on 1st wily lvl u can rcoil to the ladder and jet to the right on the 2nd horizontal lava bar ascension. but all in all good run other than what looked like an intentional death on hmans stage. I will remember the boss order fer sure tho. Thx =)

  • Yeah, the boss order I take I strongly feel is the best, because you get Rush Jet after the 5th boss, and that sets it up for Tornado Man's level. Yes, the death sucked. I always seem to screw up somewhere. :P

I don't know how to quickly deal with the horizonal bar room in Wily 1. I know it's possible to Rush Coil from the left side, but I can't seem to pull it off.

  • you got to use coil while climbing the ladder and then get to the middle ladder then jump across to the other ladder in the next room

  • I see, while ON the ladder, and not when you just get off of it. I think that was my problem. I'll try that later. Thanks.

  • wow

  • Wow dude
