The mere concept of changing one's gender is so radical for those in Western cultures because they live in such materialistic societies, where what we are is very much determined by our bodies, not our minds. Inequality is endemic in most Western cultures, based upon the antiquated concepts of possession of women, female inferiority, and women being weak. Changing gender assaults tho basic premises of our culture, challenging our understanding of our world. Does it bug you?
ya know i have to mildly to outragesly laugh at all my fellow christains that insult these lovely ladies . Just stop and think for bit i cant rember chapter and verse atm but belive bible said if a part of your body would cause you to sin to cut it out and cast it away least it condem rest . Well these ladies they did just that from what i have heard a good many suicide wich is a sin without much of a second chance so in my opion they did what is right and best for them as thier happy and alive
@xxNephlimxx If you only knew what it was like to feel like the person on the outside and the person on the inside are not the same and your life is out of balance, then you would not be so quick to condemn these people. I think that what makes you so upset is the strength of character and bravery that these people have to make such an outwardly dramatic change (believe me, for us, it's less dramatic than you think) and the ensuing jealousy that you will never be so strong.
