Are the light streaks fixed on this camera. I had a ZS3 that had them and a ZS7. If they don't fix these streaks, the videos are worthless. I hope they are gone on the
@dgthrg i've see some other camera's HD video (i forgot the brand) and they have the light streaks as well... i think this is one of the bad things on compact camera...
whats the price range for the ZS10? did they fix the issue on the lens when its on a direct lighting you get the purple vertical line across the photo specially on video? please let me know i would like to get one and review it as well
@teglaalatt no... for shutter speed it offers various settings such as starry night, which allows for different shutter speeds altho I cant remember how long it stays open.
And all of them has very low "maximum light sensitivitly" so you'll end up taking videos with "violet rays" all over when shooting at sunny days or at direct lightsource
same craptastic pinhead size sensor, useless zoom, slow lens. panasonic had a good run with zs/tz series until this year's models. i'm going m4/3. can't wait for reviews and comparisons to older models image quality.
@GarbageState I'm looking to buy a new camera for concert video's and beauty pictures. Out of all the videos I've watched and reviews I've read I like the Panasonic TZ10/ZS7 the most. So In your opinion is that a decent camera for what I'm wanting? I'm not done looking around, but IYO should I wait to check this one out or is it not worth it? Thanks!
@Beckaj5446 if you've seen concert videos done with zs7 the new zs10 should be better for video because of faster cmos sensor, but that's about it. now it can do 1080 i or p video, but image quality will suffer. i expect same or more noise at base iso in any situation. i also want all-in-one without compromises. i would wait until reviews and samples are out. also check out new sonys hx100v and hx9v. same "new" sensor, same megapixels, unfortunately... might be worth waiting for reviews...

I wonder if panasonic fixed their problem with dust getting in between the lenses.
That dustproblems totally ruined a lot of my videos this year from Thailand :(

When you're zoomed in on 16x zoom the f/stop goes up to 5.9 which is terribly slow...
It wouldn't really be useful unless you're in very bright weather.
