Besides the Khol's spot, they appeared in an episode of CSI:NY, (the episode "Stuck on You.") and in an episode of Greek. Kelly, according to US IMDB is supposed to be coming out in a slasher film called"Nightmare Carnival." So I agree, with you, someone thought "They Have It."
Good lord...that's like saying, "You stole the idea of using guitars from Led Zeppelin," or "Kelly, you stole being a girl from Eve."
You'll find similar intros in songs from The Misfits, Pennywise, Iggy Pop, and the Sex Pistols, and when Green Day first came out, people were trying to nail them to the cross as well.
Keep it up, Kelly and Co., you have the attitude and the edge to go big. You don't have to listen to the judgements of the "I-like-angst-as-long-as-you-like-angst" crowd.
It's not the Pistols, but it is punk. The attitude to the music and the spirit of 'why the fuck can't we do it' is spot on. This is on the lighter side but that's to be expected from a single these days.
