I Served from 78 to 90 with the cheiftain based AVLB and the cent AVRE with 26 , 31 and 77 and this new stuff looks like a lot more fun. I,d go back in just to have a go

Proud to say I served in 23 Engr Regt between 84 and 88. MT Tp with guys like Wattie, Dave Collins and chris Richardson. Happy days spent trying to drink Osnabruck dry. Miss the good times, forgotten the bad but once an Engineer always an engineer

Feckin Chieftain did fecking work and was reliable in the 80's never had problems with my AVLB in Munsterlager, you lot just can't bond with the kit lol. Oggies were always critical of Armd anyway :P
