Donkey Kong Country 3 - Low-G Labyrinth

I actually found this level pretty fun. The high, slow jumping and floating was cool. It only got annoying when you had to become Quawks (apparently, Quawks is what the purple version of Squawks is called). I'm not terribly fond of the Animal Buddies except for Rambi and Rattly, but especially not any of the birds, so that kind of soured it for me a little.

This level is pure marijuana. Theres a GREEN FOG. Everything is SLOW MO. you turn into a PURPLE PARROT. am i the only one that noticed this? lol this and poisonous pipe line were the biggest pain in the ass in the game

I think the purple parrot has a different name than Squawks right? I thought they were the same bird except he was purple in this one; but I think I remember seeing in the credits this purple one had a diff name... can anyone clarify for me?

(srry for the dumb question) with wich button do you pick up barres with the bird?  man this level is hard! first i thought it was prety funny bcouse you float.. but now it just annoys me -_-" And i cant get my kongs to jump that high either. i made it to the blast barrel, where the bird dissapears but i couldnt jump high enough to actualy reach the barrel. Any tips?

This level is hard, and can be annoying if you're not careful.

My Kong's have eaten too much, I can't get them to float for very long.

I disliked most of the bird sequences in DK3. The series doesn't handle Y-axis controls very well when it deviates from "jump".

@TurquoiseStar17 : there were a couple of particularly hard levels in DKC3, and Lightning Look-Out was one of them. Low-G Labyrinth and Poisonous Pipeline were two as well. I found the music quite eerie and it contributed to the abnormal nature of the levels - when you're one level away from battling K.Rool, the last thing you need is to swim in a bunch of poison where the controls are switched. But all in all, DKC1-3 were very good games :-)

the pipe levels are so creepy, one your on a tobagan, one the gravity is reduced, and one the poison reverses your movement

This was probably the first hard level in the game. At least it's the first one *I* had any trouble with.

Yeah this level gave me problems at first also because the kongs can jump so high here.

Low-G is short for Low Gravity it's only in that level where he and Dixie can jump that high.
