  • Cool test and good job ...

    Gibson is rock'n'roll forever !!!

  • Beautiful guitar

  • @friesandfries Great! Wonderful guitar for the money, the best! I have loved this guitar but I must sell it to buy an R9.... but the traditional is a top guitar, for some sound the '57 pickup are the best, better than '59..

  • It sounds great! Does it stay in tune well?

  • @Hellozan11 Yes! Never problem! Thank you

  • @enrico689 Well, then I'll go for this one, I can almost afford it ;)

  • gr8 guitar and a gr8 guitarplayer :)

    I just love Gibson

  • @theoh01 Sorry for the delay, I read now your comment! Thank you very much!

  • Time for a new strap. I saw the "Fender" :)

  • @MJMImages he he... You are right!!! I'll buy a Gibson strap...

  • Wow, thats awesomme man!

  • @alzaguensey Many Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so sweet!!! I love your tone, man!

  • @barkeg050 Many thanks my friend!!

  • what key are you playing in?

  • @PurpleHunter7 The base is from "same old blues" (clapton) C9, D9, A9 (all sus); the improv is on A minor pentatonica.

  • Merci! ça donne envie de l'acheter!

Il y a eu une les paul slash signature (rouge avec le serpent) qui était équipée de classic '57 et '57 plus... les autres avecdes duncan

  • Was it an improv? If so, that was nice. I loved it. Very good. I would really like a loop pedal.

    Whats your setup?

  • @MattA7XRev Thank You! Yes is an improv... sorry but I've changed many time my setup, I don't remember!!

  • i have one and i absolutely love it <3 :)

  • Slash uses a traditional les Paul right

  • @skiingkid57 his main recording guitar is a les paul copy built by kris derrig, and his live guitar is an 88 standard. ;)

  • @TheZLProductions It's true!!

  • Actually, as it happens, AMS has Slash's custom guitars for sale... Dunno where else they might sell em, but it's called the Gibson Custom Slash Appetite for Destruction Signature Les Paul VOS. Even comes with a certificate of authenticity.

...That is, if you WANT to spend $6,400... ;D

  • @THeBesTTHereIz951 Yes I know the "Appetite", I saw one (not VOS) in a guitar shop here in Rome (more or less 3.000 $). The Traditional is fat creamy ('57 pickup), the LP 2008 standard is hotter (burstbucker pro pickup), more close to the slash tone. But I chose the Trad because I like '60 and '70 tones!

  • @enrico689 I see. :D Well I've been planning on buying the trad plus, just thought I would share that information with you. There is also a certified Epiphone version, for $1,000.

  • @enrico689 hey dude nice sound im planning on getting the same one later this year, ever thought about doing some Led Zeppelin covers?

  • @guitarfreak651 Yes!! I'll do "Black dog".......

  • @enrico689 sweet man one of my favs

  • nice......like your tone, my wife is finally letting me get a gibson no more epiphone for me. i can't decide between the taditional plus or pro. i like the flame on the plus a whole lot better i will probably get the light burst. keep playing man it sounds good

  • @duran2085 Thank you duran! Go to Traditional, great guitar. Today Gibson guitars are simply fantastic!! I love stratocaster but the build quality of gibson is higher.

  • @duran2085 go with traditional because you can always mod it to have split coils and stuff like that

  • @jimiclapton1 yeah after doing a lot of research and playing between the both at guitar center the traditional is more what i'm looking for in tone. i also like how the 50's style neck feels. i'm going to get a gold top and i'm sooo excited i can't wait.

  • @duran2085 i think you better get a pro...

becouse i think it has better quality of the wood wich means better tone

but that's my opinion...i don't own a gibson yet but i think you should go for a pro

  • 70's like clapton??? Clapton started playing strats in like 1969, he played a les paul in the Bluesbreakers and a little in Cream before it got stolen...then he used the "New Les Paul"...which was an SG

  • @Noseheros Hi, You are right... the clapton LP'sound was in the '60 but I think he used also in '70. Generally the sound of the end of '60 and the beginning of '70 is very close (think about "sunshine for your love"). Many guitarist used, especially in studio, different guitars. Gilmour used LP... Knopfler used Strat, LP, Schekter, Telecaster.... but many people thinking only about the "fiesta red" strat...

  • Nice playing man. Love the Paradise City thing. This will probably be my next guitar and my first Gibson, but mine will be in Goldtop. I need some humbuckers to go with my Fender Strat's single coils.

  • @DDInDaHouse187 Thank you! Now I'm going better with the neck!!

  • @enrico689 the neck might be a problem for me, cause my Strat AND my Casino have slim necks. But im sure it feels great onc your used to it.

  • hi enrico! can you answer me a question? i just bought a les paul traditional :D iced tea and i play it trough my marshall jmd102 combo. can i do this:

    guitar -> boss dd7 -> wah pedal pw10 -> amp???

  • @BoneyardShadow Hi, congratulation for your new guitar! In the chain of effects there are few rules... one of this is that the delay even the last and wha even the first. Imagine three blocks:

first (wha, compressor, reverb) second (overdrive and distortion) last (chorus, delay).

  • @enrico689 thanks man. that was really helpful. i was handling some troubles. keep rocking :D

  • Nice new Gibson dude. The HB is always a beautiful color. Rock on and play loud! ;)

  • @marc726 Thanks Marc. I removed the pickguard, now it's more beautiful!!

  • Hey what kind of equipment made thebackground riffs in this vid but nice playin man keep at it

  • @GS96Whiskey

Hi, I used the "hold" position on my delay Boss DD7.

  • I have a LP traditional HB as well sounds awesome through my Mesa Boogie Express. Way way different than the old strat.

  • That was so entertaining man, congrats on the beautiful guitar. please post more you are really good!

  • @B2Rockin

Many thanks, You are too kind!!

  • Gran Bella chitarrina anche io l' avevo solo gold top e mi ci sono divertito molto!!!

  • Congratulations - beautiful instrument with nice flame top and typical sound!

  • @notpopebuthope

    Thank you very much!
