Aviation in its golden days...the Saturn V and the Boeing 747 coming into service both around the same time, after less than 100 years since man first took to the skies in a wooden glider. The 747 remained the largest, most powerful, and heaviest aircraft in commercial aviation until the introduction of the Airbus A380. The Saturn V remains the heaviest, most powerful, and largest rocket ever built to this day. My hat goes off to these legendary giants.
It's awfully damn sad, when the animations are more realistic then the garbage they provided as 'proof' of their voyage...Stars...present in animation, disappearing from lunar skyline....Exhaust plume visible in animation, yet somehow missing during ascent stage lift-off...
@un4g1v3n1 What an unbelieveably stupid comment! You must be one of those wackos who think the whole flight was staged on a Hollywood backlot...heaven help us from screwballs like you!
@donwert Another moron the astro/solar physicists laugh at like a child still believing in Santa Claus! Your ignorance of the true nature of cislunar space keeps you in the camp with the Apollo worshippers! Welcome to camp, Santa will be around soon to join the party with the tooth fairy, easter bunny, and radiation-proof test pilots!
These animations are great. I wonder if the raw footage of them can be found somewhere? I think there were also some promos that explained Lunar Orbit Rendezvous that featured some cartoon characters.
There's Spiro Agnew - one of the first modern Republican arch criminals, panderers, and bloodsuckers, who set the tone for Nixon, Reagan, both Bushes, Keating, DeLay, the list is endless!! They have tried their best to destroy the United States, have crippled us morally and financially, and done more damage than an army of Communists and a rain of bombs could ever have done!!

@un4g1v3n1 You are a seriously disturbed person---this nonsense reads like the rantings of that nut
who caused the Tucson massacre...

I guess, then, that you are not a Republican...or did I read too much into your statement.
