As much as I've tried, I've never been able to get into deathcore. I know this might be met with responses of "if you don't like it, why are you posting comments?" I'm about constructive criticism, not trolling. Not all deathcore bands are bad, but many of them have a tendency to sacrifice songwriting for breakdowns. They'll build up some nice momentum in a song then throw in a breakdown for no reason. Maybe I'm too much into old school DM (Suffocation, Death, Baphomet, Obituary, etc).
